Well organised guided tours to Cat Cat village and then then next day an approx. 5-7 mile walk (with lunch included) with guide from the local village. It was very muddy but daughter & I borrowed wellies which had fairly good grips. Local ladies assisted us along paths through rice fields & in return we bought local handicraft items. Well worth doing to get an insight into rural Vietnamese life.

Smooth transfer from our overnight train to the hotel. Definitely what you wanted after getting to the station at 6am. Really communicative about breakfast, lunch and dinner timings and locations. Lovely hotel with breakfast straight away and the hotel were great at looking after bags. Picked up by a fantastic tour guide who was a member from one of the local tribes down the valleys of Sa Pa. Had a shorter walk the first day to Cat Cat Village. Beautiful waterfall and little shops. Hotel dinner included after free time in the afternoon to explore Sa Pa town. The next day was the longer trek, welly boots can be rented for very cheap if the route is muddy when you visit. Same guide allowed us to get to know her and her culture more and ask questions. The local women of the villages we were visiting helped us down the rice paddy hills with the idea that you would buy some of their homemade purses, bags, pillowcases etc. once you reached their village. Great to see their homes and culture and a quickly served lunch to tuck into. Once we got back to the hotel we had more free time to see more of Sa Pa before another hotel dinner and very well organised taxi back to the train station. Updates throughout the day were extremely helpful and the treks were the perfect distance for people who want to explore a bit more on their holiday.

Absolutely loved the experience. Pleasant and professional coordinators ensure you have a good time. Any and every issue was taken care of, great communication. Very friendly guides and quite strong as well (really comes in handy as you will need their help during the trek at some points). The train journey and the hotels provided were quite comfortable and most importantly CLEAN!

Highly recommended tour if you want to add mountains to your Vietnam itinerary. It's an all inclusive package with acco, meals, train & internal bus transfers, tour guides, treks etc. So you can just relax and enjoy the beautiful town of sapa. The village treks were really amazing and made the whole trip worth it. Thanks to ur hospitality, we could enjoy sapa like a boss!!!

We loved this two-day trip with our amazing guide Lily and Nam. The trip was well-coordinated with transfers to and from the train station. The trekking was also beautiful as we weaved between the rice terraces and visited the villages. Lily is a wonderful, knowledgeable, funny guide and an absolute pleasure to trek with. The hotel we stayed at was also comfortable. A memorable and enjoyable trek indeed!

I had booked 2day Sapa trekking tour which was very smooth and very well co-ordinated. Train was very comfortable both ways.. nice bedding and warm blankets provided in train. It was quite cold in Sapa this season but if you enjoy the winters, then will love the experience. First day was a short trek of about 3 Km to Cat Cat village which was easy.. Second day was a trek of about 12 Km which requires moderate fitness, however it takes you through amazing landscapes, rice terraces and villages. I had vegetarian food preference which was well catered.. will give 5 stars food .. however would recommend hotel to be upgraded..

This was a bit of a stressful tour. The operator sent a lot of WhatsApp messages about a week before the tour, we were in touch and they had all of our details. The day that we were to be picked up, there was no communication - after waiting for 10 minutes I text and called. Eventually I got a response, and a grab taxi was called to pick us up from the hotel - it felt as though we had been forgotten. Arriving at Ga Hanoi, we had no idea who was to direct us, no tickets etc eventually someone arrived with about 20 minutes to spare before the train left and recognised us from our passport pictures. Train to Sapa was great, arrival in Sapa was fine - taxi picked us up and we were taken to our hotel. We booked the 4*, but on review it looks as though it was a 3* hotel. The rest of the trip was lovely, Nam and Xing looked after us very well. Breakfast lunch and dinner for 2 days was included, however 3 of these were at the same place which seemed to cater for “westerners” and the options were not really authentic or very good. Arriving back at Lao Cai station for our train back to Hanoi, we had a ticket confirmation but no ticket and took us a while to figure out which cabin we were supposed to be in. If you’re well travelled and like to self manage then you’ll be fine (luckily I’m travelling with a friend who is a lot more savvy), if you’re a little stressy like me then it can take the shine away. Finally, we were offered $20 for a 5* review, morally I couldn’t take them up on that. I must stress that Xing, Nam and the Taxi driver in Sapa were lovely to deal with.

Sapa is AMAZING! I absolutely loved our tour guides Nam and Lily, they were really kind and fun, excellent communicators (English speaking) and gave us amazing tours of Sapa city and villages. I struggled to communicate with some of the other coordinators as their English wasn’t as strong. FYI we booked the four star trip and got put in a 3 star hotel (Sapa Relax Hotel and Spa), we raised concerns about this but we still stayed in that hotel. So maybe clarify this to meet your expectations before going. Otherwise highly recommend this tour for a full two days of exploring the beautiful Sapa.

Super nice trip. The first day we went for a hike in the rice fields, it was wonderful! We visited several small and charming villages. Everything was perfect. The second day we visited another small village with beautiful waterfalls. Everything is very well organized, the transport, the hotel with a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet! I highly recommend

Too much free time, but otherwise an amazing experience. There's no actual tour guide but everything is set up for you and us user friendly
