Kevin was an amazing guide. He was very warm, friendly and helpful. He was always attentive to our needs and able to adapt the tour to our preferences and interests. We wanted to learn about Chinese history and understanding modern life in China, and Kevin taught us a lot. Kevin was very knowledgeable about all of the tourist sites we visited, including the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace. His English is very strong. We highly recommend a tour with Kevin.

We did the 2 day tour organised by Lily’s Bejing Tour and our tour guide was Maggie who was absolutely sensational. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but also very kind and attentive, making sure we had a great time. Being a vegetarian, Maggie made sure I could enjoy lunch in a nice local restaurant, she really went out of her way to make us comfortable while providing a lot of information and answering all our questions. Cant recommend her enough! And our driver was excellent as well (sorry forgot his name) we felt very secure at all times.

Booked the private tour to immerse my school children with Chinese culture. Was attended by Jeffrey ( tour guide) and Mr Yang (Driver). They were attentive to our needs and helpful throughout the tour. Strongly recommend if you want a more customised experience to learn more about China.

I never write reviews normally but for this tour I will make an exception. I was quite nervous travelling to Beijing. I was travelling in with my two boys aged 9 and 7 as well as another family with two children aged 4 and 7. I didn’t know how they would handle the sight seeing and long days but I really need not have worried. Our guide Lisa was amazing. She was great with the kids and was very informative answering all our questions and more. I had also been worried about the food as I had heard a few horror stories and had settled on the fact that my kids may have to live on fast food for the few days we were in Beijing. I need not have Been concerned. The food we had was delicious. Lisa took us to two authentic Chinese restaurants while on our trips and ordered for us which meant we could try lots of different cuisine and my two boys loved everything...well almost! The Great Wall was defiantly the highlight for the boys. We took the chairlift up and then the Toboggan down which was great fun. We added in an acrobatic show one evening and went to see the Pandas and I would recommend both of these, but be prepared to be exhausted. Finally I fully anticipated feeling stressed but having Lisa took the stress out of everything and was worth every single penny we spent. All in all I could not rate this service highly enough. My family and I enjoyed every last minute of this trip and Lisa made this experience one we will never forget.

We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children aged 4-9, after research we decided to choose Lily’s Beijing Tour for a 2 day private tour, they also arranged our airport pickup and drop off! We were able to tailor our tour to cover what we wanted. Which included Tiananmen Square, forbidden city, Summer palace, the Panda House, the Great Wall & Acrobatic show. Everything ran smoothly and our guide Lisa was amazing, she had planned everything so we made the most of our time, had fabulous knowledge of every place, even helped with good photo opportunities! She was also great with the kids! They loved her!! I would highly recommend this tour and would definitely ask for Lisa again if we return! Thank you for making our trip to Beijing so special!

We have just completed a private two day tour with Helen our guide and her driver. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Helen has a excellent knowledge of the history of Beijing and its attractions. Her english was of a high standard and she has a lovely fun personality. Helen is very friendly and helpful and having her to ourselves meant we got the full benefit of this. We have done a lot of Beijing attractions in just two days but don’t feel exhausted. Covered way more than if we tried it on our own or with a group. Helen took us each day to different local restaurants for lunch and both were very good and had local flavour in the atmosphere and food. The car was very clean and a luxury model professionally driven. Beijing traffic is for a foreigner unpredictable and having a competent driver was very reassuring. Can’t speak highly enough of our tour. Thank you Helen and driver

Jerry was such an incredible guide for our two days in Beijing. We got to see more than we ever could have on our own. The Forbidden City and Great Wall were highlights. Speaking of the Great Wall, he took us to a section that wasn’t nearly as crowded and it made the experience so much better. The entire two days were something we will never forget. Being with the local guide who speaks English makes a huge difference when you’re in Beijing. Having a driver is so helpful as part of this tour too. We had the best food when we were with Jerry. He knows the most incredible local spots.

Sally did an awesome job sharing her wealth of knowledge and leading our tour. I highly recommend this tour to better understand the history and culture of Beijing while having fun!

I just spent two days with Linda. Not only did we see all of the “must-see” spots around Beijing, but Linda is a wealth of historical information and I learned so much about China’s fascinating history. She knows all of the “short cuts” to avoid excessive crowds, our driver was courteous and exactly where he needed to be on time, and we went to legitimate shops to buy jade! I highly recommend this tour and Linda as your guide. It was an excellent experience!

Linda was our tour guide for both days. She was very nice, easy to understand and very knowledgeable. She knew when to go to each site to avoid the crowds and easily modified the trip for shopping, extra pictures and food as we progressed through the day...the car service was perfect and dropped off and picked us up right on time. This saved hours of our time since we didn’t have to wait on busses and queue lines to get to the next location. I would use this service again and highly recommend it to others. Great value for the money and you get to see more sites than bus tours or touring alone. Definitely five stars!!!

In reality, it is a 1.5 day tour. The guide has the right attitude; however she was not bilingual and very limited on the tuor topics knowledge. The first day (Great Wall Visit) the lunch was at a squalid place where we got sick. The day, similar situación, the restaurant was a different one that the included on the offer (Mr Shi’s dumpling). When we complained, Lili offered free tickets for Kung Fu, a dinner or gifts. She dos no realize that We just want the right service for the tour we paid +USD $800. It is a Shame.

Excellent 2 day tour with guide Linda. Been to BJ several times for work and never managed to break out so it was great to see the sights and history. The Great Wall and Forbidden City should be on every ones' bucket list, really amazing. Linda and her driver colleagues were wonderful and they keep it fresh and interesting altho they get to do it every day! Thanks Linda and Lilys tours for great 2 days.

We had way too much fun with Sally and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her on a tour in Beijing! She took us around every line and helped us feel like VIPs. We went to all the great sites and she had interesting stories about them all. The lunch selections were awesome!! Not some cheesy tourist-trap joints so I was very pleased and pleasantly surprised. Towards the end of Day 1 we requested to go shopping on this really trendy road and she made it happen! My husband, brother, and I thoroughly enjoyed our quick 2-days in Beijing thanks to her and our driver! PS she’s an excellent photographer!!

It was such a complete tour! We saw everything in 2 days and ate super good Chinese food :) Our tour guide Amanda was great! She explained everything very good and was lovely ! We had good weather as well so we where very lucky! I loved Beijing!

Disclaimer: I went with my mom and couldn’t pick “family (children) or (teen). My mom is fluent in mandarin and I’m fluent in English. This was the only tour that could satisfy both of our needs. Thank you Lily and Linda for this amazing experience. Given our circumstances (see below), Linda and the driver completed our Beijing experience. My mom and I couldn’t have enjoy as much as we did without them. 1. I made a mistake booking this tour. Fortunately, Lily and Linda were flexible and were able to accommodate the date change without extra cost (this was an exception. Please don’t expect this out of them all the time) 2. The Airbnb that we booked were absolutely horrible ... an apartment filled with sewage smell and a broken AC. Linda helped us book our accommodation for the rest of the Beijing trip (thanks Linda!). Without her help, we wouldn’t know where to book without costing a fortune. (Please note that most motel / hotel would not accept you if you are a foreigner.) 3. Linda is extremely good at her job. She knows exactly when and where to bring you so that you will get a private experience among a sea of people. If she were to recommend a half an hour earlier start time (8am instead of 8:30am), you should listen to her. (...Unless you want to experience being in that sea of tourists) 4. In addition, Linda gave us multiple recommendations of what we should do on our free time. Last thing: this tour was perfect for someone with very little to no knowledge of the Chinese history (Aka myself - despite being a chinese :p). Linda was able to summarize the rich history at every site within 20min-ish
