We had a wonderful time, saw many animals and stayed at some great lodges. We added a few days in Kampala & Jinja at the end as these were homes to us as children. Our driver/guide David took vey good care of us, we felt very safe at all times.

Our safari with David was fantastic! Highly recommend. Our driver, David, made our experience exceptional. He always made sure we were happy with how everything was going throughout the trip (and it was 14 days)! We mentioned in passing to him that we were celebrating our 30th anniversary, and a few days later the lodge we were staying at had prepared a special event for us and done up our room beautifully! We were very touched by his thoughtfulness and care. As for the safari itself, all the animal encounters were great, and we saw everything (on multiple occasions) that we had hoped to! All in all, truly an exceptional experience that we highly recommend!

Sedrick was quick to respond back when I first got in touch way back in 2020, and helped me to tailor an itinerary to my needs. Of course, 2020 didn't pan out so well and I ended up needing to cancel my trip due to travel restrictions, so was very grateful when Sedrick honoured my deposit, no questions asked, a full three years later! The tour itself was INCREDIBLE. We did an 11 day trip through Uganda, covering many of the main regions. I'm not exaggerating when I say that every single day of the trip was a highlight - and I say this as someone who has done a few safari trips before (SA, Kenya, Namibia, Botswana). Our guide, Darius, was down to earth, friendly and welcoming, and a great person to spend the trip with. We enjoyed chatting to him and learning about life in Uganda as well as the the sites we visited. Not only did he have comprehensive knowledge about both the animals and birds (including prior experience working at some of the national parks), but he clearly made an effort to focus on what we were interested in. I can't believe how good his eyesight was. For example, Darius spotted a leopard about 100m off the road in a cactus tree which I struggled to even find with binoculars (you can see it in one of my photos below taken at full 600mm zoom - and not the close up, that was a different leopard!). We were the only car of many driving along that main tarmac road that stopped to take a closer look! We loved exploring Uganda, and it was completely different to anywhere else I've been (even neighbouring Kenya) in terms of landscapes, wildlife and culture. The chimp and gorilla tracking were the focal point for me and didn't disappoint - I'm still looking back though those photos often to relive those experiences. There is absolutely nothing like it. On the accommodation side, each place was fantastic and unique in its own way, from an island in a lake to a lodge where elephants wander past in front of you as you have a drink at the end of the day. Similarly, the food was a consistently high standard. Neither of us got sick at any point, although we met people on other tours who had, so probably best to bring some precautionary meds in case. Overall, this was the trip of a lifetime - I would unreservedly recommend Ngoni Safaris to anyone looking to visit Uganda. And if you're not specifically looking to visit Uganda... Maybe reconsider, it's really worth bumping to the top of your list!

We did the 13-day-long The Pearl of Africa tour, it was truly an ultimate lifetime experience. Everything was well-organized, the whole tour was running really smoothly. The entire trip from day 1 to day 12 in Uganda was filled with adventure. James was my guide. He was very knowledgeable about the National Parks. He was polite and tried really hard to give me the best safari ever. I would highly recommend Nagoni for anyone who plans to book a safari.

We booked a customized 11 day trip in Uganda covering Kampala, Murchison, Queen elizabeth, Bwindi , Lake Mburo etc The trip was really good & we enjoyed it very much. The driver/guide David took good care of us. A 6 seater Toyota van was with us for 10 days All expenses were taken care of as promised.

I have just returned from my Ugandan safari and I already feel nostalgia for what has been a home away from home for 14 indelible days that count as years. And I am not being hyperbolic when I say that my solo escape to Uganda has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience which will remain engrained in my memory forever. Everything about Uganda spoke to my soul: the sprawling savannah inhabited by hundreds of species of birds and unhabituated animals, the untouched beauty of the landscapes, the huge expanses of wilderness, the unspoilt, rough bush experience, the lushness of the vegetation surrounding the crater lakes in Kabarole district, the sound of the rapids of the Nile river, the warmth and hospitality of the people, the visits to the local communities and the relatively unmediated insights into their lives, the encounter with the chimpanzees in the wild and, last but not least, with the gorillas in their forest habitat, the most memorable, transformative experience of the trip and, quite possibly, of my life. And all this wouldn’t have been possible without the advice, the support and guidance of Sedrick, who helped me put together the travel itinerary that suited me best, striking the perfect balance between intense days and unwinding days; assisted me in selecting the lodges that resonated with me and the landscape they are immersed in (and that follow and promote good conservation practices and ethics); communicated swiftly with me via email from the start, and made transactions easy. But my most heartfelt thanks go to James, my driver, my guide, my companion, for his confident driving that made me feel very secure even on the less travelled roads, for his knowledge in terms of local culture, wildlife and nature, for his insider’s perspective into the Ugandan way of life and customs, for his professionality, his reliability, his kindness, his attentiveness, his friendliness. He definitely went above and beyond to address my concerns, meet my demands and fulfill my wishes. I can’t praise him highly enough. This journey has been a time of exploration and renewal and real bonding. I hope to return to Uganda one day and, when that happens, I will certainly book my safari with Ngoni Safaris.

Great discovery ! I enjoyed the tour with David who did his best to give me the best experience : he adjusted last minute the accommodation to adjust to my needs and wishes and some activities in order to be less rushed on the last day for pcr test and permit me to see the shoebill. He went out of his way to explain and illustrate for me life in Uganda for the people but also I the safaris. A country full of surprises worth visiting smoothly organised… ( expect the en expected and accept nature , there won’t be a hiding lion every day 😉) . I felt lucky and happy to live this human experience , the gorilla tracking, the views and very nice accommodations ! Will look forward to come again for Kidepo natural parc and some more gorilla tracking!

First of all we can say, that we had a great time in Uganda with Ngoni Safaris. They offer a great price-performance relation. Sedrick from Ngoni Safaris is a reliable and flexible person. As we made our request for the tour, he gave us some important tipps, but tried to follow our imaginations as strict as possible. For example we have choosen an unusual route, because we wanted to have the gorilla trekking in the beginning of our trip. It was no problem, they are flexible in that kind of things. Contact was easy made during our planning period by whatts app or call. We always got quick answers when there were any questions. During our tour mostly everything went as planned, but bit disturbing was the fact, that twice we had some uncertainties of the booking period of lodges. But as I said before, sedrick in agreement with david (driver and guide) always regulated it in a fine, uncomplicated and quick way. It was always easy to reach him by whatts app or phone during the whole trip too. Our driver and guide Davis always tried very hard to fulfill all our wishes. We told him at the start of our tour what is most important for us to discover and he tried everything to fulfill these wishes. And he succeded. For example he took in a lot of effort, to make some leopard spottings possible. He isn't a person of many explanations (for example some detailed information about life and culture in Uganda) but more important he was always absolutely reliable and always in time. His driving was a bit to fast and aggressive for our point of view. Sometimes it depended on his mood. David always tried to gave us a private experience. If possible he always organized boat tours for example for the two of us. So we could enjoy everything in the way we like it. Last three days his friendly mood changed. We don't know why he started to be unfriendly. We think maybe because of the uncertainties with the lodges I mentioned before. Even owners of lodges asked us, why he is in a bad mood. But also during these last three days he was always reliable, in time and organized everything as it was booked and planned. As a conclusion we can recommend Ngoni Safris. At no place any extra charging, everything as booked. Perfect. Not always like that, but with Nogoni you can trust that you get what you've booked. As mentioned initially, really good price-performance. And Uganda itself is a wonderfull destination. Great diversity of landscapes, villages and animals. Really worth a trip.
