We really enjoyed this tour! We learned so much about the history of Sonoma without it being overwhelming. We sampled amazing cheeses, olive oils & balsamic vinegars, plus a margarita, wines & a plate of delicious Mexican food. It was an easy, flat walk around town, and we were blessed with sunny skies. Our guide was fantastic- Caroline was absolutely lovely! Thanks for a great 3 hours!

Enjoyed learning the history of beautiful Sonoma... Abby was great!! Friendly & very knowledgable. I would've liked a little more wine to be included for the price (especially on the cheese stop). Only one stop had wine. But overall a great experience!!

Our tour guide, Abby, made this tour such fun! It was an ideal blend of getting to sample some of Sonoma's best products along with hearing about Sonoma's history. Starting with tasting Vella cheese samples (and visiting their retail shop, where they had vacuum-sealed cheeses at reasonable prices to purchase and take home), we then had the best "Cal-Mex" food and a margarita! We then sampled amazing flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars at Figone's (we came back after the tour to buy some), tasted delectable wines at Highway 12, and finished with our choice of a chocolate truffle at Wine Country Chocolates. It was a perfect way to get to know Sonoma. My husband and I absolutely loved this very personalized tour!

The tour guide and tour content was fantastic! She was friendly and knowledgeable and really seemed to enjoy her job. The pictures were a fantastic touch and we loved meeting the people in our group. I was a little disappointed with the amount of food on the tour. I expected more of a small plates progressive lunch but only two stops were seated and only one plated food on the tour. The others were standing taste “shoportunities” which were fun but not what I was expecting. Tour guide also gave personal restaurant and activity recommendations which was a fantastic addition to our trip.

This tour was a fantastic opportunity to visit Sonoma Square and learn about a bit of local history while touring specialty cheese, olive oil, wine and chocolate shops. It was a really wonderful day and the small group was the perfect size!

A really fun way to spend the day, learn about Sonoma’s history, taste some delicious foods & drinks, and make some new friends! Abby is a fantastic guide who immediately set the tone for a fun & friendly afternoon! The icing on the cake is the photo album she puts together at the end of her tours as a wonderful memento of an enjoyable afternoon!

The Sonoma Food Tour was the absolute best start to our Sonoma vacation. Abby was so personable, shared amazing history about Sonoma and had curated wonderful food and wine stops along the way. If you are visiting Sonoma, this tour is an absolute must!

A nice local tour of the immediate area around the Sonoma plaza. Great tidbits of history about the area and it's founding families. Caroline (out tour guide) was terrific and all the vendors were very accommodating. We got to taste locally made cheese from the Vella Family, a superb lunch at La Casa, saw and heard about the missions of California and one is right in the plaza area. We were able to taste olive oils and balsamic vinegars, we moved on and sat in a lovely & comfy patio and experienced Highway 12 wines, our last stop was a short walk and munched on chocolates all made locally. The tour was a few hours so you can explore what Sonoma has on your own, a very fun day! P.S. well worth the tour price.

Caroline was an amazing tour guide. What we loved about the experience was the history mixed with the food and spirits. The shopping was great. I bought a lots of little gifts, and it was a wonderful treat to snack along the way.

While there wasn’t as much wine as I expected, it was probably just as well with the heat. Caroline is a charming and knowledgeable tour guide. This was our favorite part of the entire trip. And I’m now a self-proclaimed olive oil snob. So fun and interesting. We saw so much more than we would have wandering aimlessly on our own. Definitely something we would do again when we return to the area. 10/10. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommend this wonderful walking tour. Abby was the best tour guide ever! Her upbeat personality and enthusiasm for the wine, food and history was contagious! The food and wine stops were amazing - including a meal, olive oil/balsamic, chocolate, cheese and even Mia margaritas! We loved meeting everyone on the tour and sharing our experiences. The tour was not rushed and very casual. Book early! Loved it!

We really enjoyed the tour guide, Abby, and the tour itself! It was fun and they were very accommodating as we had the time wrong and arrived late. Note that unlike other food tours, this really only had one "meal" and other smaller bites as well as wine and olive oil/balsamic. If you are looking for variety, this is the tour for you! If you looking to eat a lot, then no so much

Abby was a great tour guide for our birthday girls trip! Every stop was fantastic and the history of Sonoma shared by her was just tremendous! We would recommend this trip to anyone going to Napa Valley
