We had a great time on board with captain Tim! We saw dolphins and even had one swimming with us as we were tubing!

We had a great time. Some of us just enjoyed the boat ride. Our captain, John, was fantastic! Would recommend; 2 hrs if you have teens.

We tried tubing in HHI. The kids loved it. They did say they got a little salt water in face and mouth, but they had too much fun to care.

Fantastic tubing trip. My kids could’ve stayed another hour. Tim was a wonderful captain and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It was a very organized operation, I would highly recommend it and would come back again.

Both of my girls really enjoyed the tubing. Island head has a good location and the Captain was very knowledgeable. He took us out to the other side of the bridge and into the mouth of the river so there was little boat traffic. The girls rode the tubes for about 30 minutes until the first one had enough. The captain was good was keeping it fun but not too much. I’m sure if others are more adventurous, he would be able to comply. Everyone including my wife got to ride on the tube. We had a blast. Also on the way to the bridge, we saw several dolphins. This saved us having to book another boat trip.

Michael (our boat captain/guide) was a true class act. He was excellent at judging the skill level of each boy and making their first tubing experience very memorable. Our group consisted of little ones to grandparents. Also, we rescheduled a couple of times due to weather and they were great with working us into their appointment times. Furthermore- huge bonus for stopping the boat to point out dolphins along the way. Highly recommend this company based upon our experience.

Great tubing trip. Could go as easy or as hard as you wanted. Jumped right on the boat and got to tubing fast.

We just spent the last week on HHI and went to Island Head a couple of times for different activities (tubing trip and parasailing). Everything about our trips were amazing! Our kids had so much fun and it was the highlight of our trip. Each day there we met and interacted with different employees and both owners. Everyone who works there is super friendly and chill and give off great positive vibes! They were flexible with scheduling and rescheduling and extremely accommodating and welcoming. We love vacationing on HHI and will definitely be making Island Head a regular part of our future trips from now on!

Our group had 5 adults and 5 kids, age 4-11 for the 90-minute private dolphin cruise. All had a great time. We saw 203 dolphins (according to the kids) many very close! Calm water, great scenery. Captain Arden took care of us and we learned much from his experience. Just the right length of time. Saw Luke Bryant’s house along with other impressive estates. Highly recommend.

Great ferry service, and enjoyed Dafuski sights and beach. Ferry Captain was friendly and shared info about the tides, the area and Dafuski.

Taking this Island Head ferry provides an extra 90 mins on the island over the Daufuskie Ferry!! Highly recommend. We had the perfect amount of time to explore the entire island. Three hours would not have been enough time for lunch & exploring and 5 hours was not TOO much. We arrived about 35 mins early. We found the trailer and received our boarding information. Walked down the dock and the Island Head boats were easily visible. We were provided with 3 options: fast, medium, or slow boat. This was unexpected but much appreciated! We chose the fastest boat. The ride over was fun for the family speeding across the sound. They provided seat cushions and a short commentary of what to expect. Captain Red Beard was friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. We made the mistake of booking the golf cart first with a different company. If we would have booked with Island Head the process would have been much more smooth, so we suggest getting the package deal. Overall, it was a great day exploring beautiful Daufuskie Island.

Great travel experience and value. Golf carts were ready to go with easy pick up and drop off. The Old Daufuski Crab Co was a bit over run though. Lunch (soft shell crab BLT) was fabulous, but took almost 2 hours so plan accordingly.

Devin was our captain coming back from Daufuskie. She was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and made the trip memorable and fun. Would love to come back and find her again. Both couples that were on the ride had an absolute blast chatting with her the whole way.

These people were more than helpful with getting ALL of our luggage from the cars to the ferry. They even had a golf cart and trailer arranged to pick us up from the dock. Worth every penny spent!!

The best thing is these guys are completely pet friendly. So nice to be able to take your dog with you on vacation. The boat and golf cart rental was pet friendly. It was a nice ride nice crew.

Island Head Marina ferry and staff are amazing. We went to Daufuskie for the week and went with this company. We happened to be the only ones on the boat which was amazing and they helped us with our luggage! I would definitely recommend this company!

Took Steve's ferry boat from HHI to Daufuskie for a birthday celebration with my group of 13. Despite the choppy waters and wind (we had a cold front come through) his crew did the best they could to keep us as dry as possible. Top notch and very personable! Highly recommend.

Our ferry trip to Daufuskie was great. Captain Ty was very personable, provided great service, was timely and helpful.

We are so happy we were able to book a private taxi with Steve and Tyler. We choose to vacation in Daufuskie so we could social distance from large crowds and enjoy the beach. They are so personable and kind making it a fun and safe experience for us and were so helpful getting our luggage on and off for our family of six. Thanks so much Captain Superman!!!!
