I had an opportunity to combine my tour experience(s) into a private tour with my expert guide Daniel .. ! He was very knowledgable, friendly and patient with my photography and also helped with some technical aspects of photographing wildlife. Visitors should be "prepared" to see ALL species of wildlife with JungleLife Tours, including tapir and sloth ! It was great and I hope to return !

All the staff were amazing and that’s why I give this rating. I was by myself and joined another little group. I dont think $25 is worthy. I saw 3 frogs, 3 sloths, one chameleon and the butterflies. That was all. Definitely not my cup of tea

This one hour tour, which turned into a 2½ hour tour, was the highlight of our two week trip to Costa Rica in March. We saw many toucans and watched one pair do a little courting ritual. We watched one toucan fly in and out of a tree cavity. We observed the beautiful red legged honey creeper and the Rufous Motmot up close. We “slowly” watched a sloth move its little head and body around. We saw the bluejean frog, the glass frog, and more! We were not rushed. We were able to spend time finding and observing. It was not crowded. Our guide at Jungle Life Costa Rica, Alexander, was awesome! His enthusiasm for Costa Rican wildlife and birds is genuine. He keeps a life list on his Cornell Birding App. With his help, we came home with some beautiful photographs on our phone. We stopped by this place on a whim because we had seen so few birds and mammals in the Monteverde and Santa Elena Cloud forests, guided and unguided. The only sloth we had sited was in Monteverde and it was so high up in the canopy it wasn’t really anything to see unless we looked through our guide’s telescope. At the end of our Jungle Life tour, there was hot tea and coffee and a cookie. A perfect ending.

What a wonderful tour at Jungle Life Costa Rica - Rainforest Tours. Alexander was great. Found the wildlife for us, setup his scope took video through it and explained all the wildlife and habitat. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about it or visiting the area. Must do on any trip to Guanacaste province for a wonderful day trip

Definitely the highlight of our trip! We saw birds, butterflies, sloths and more. Alexander has a great eye and found so many things we would have missed. He took pictures with our phones through his scope and they turned out amazing.

We had a great tour with Alexander! We saw a baby sloth right at the entrance. Alexander took his time explaining and finding wildlife that we would have definitely missed. We saw sloths, bats, a toucan, snake and many more. We got great pictures with the help of Alexander from his spotting scope. We were lucky the sun came out that day after days of rain.

This was our plan B and we are very happy that Plan A did not work. Very nice tour with our guide Alexander; we were able to see sloths, tapir, coati, snake, frog, birds and butterflies. Alexander is a generous guide providing us with very interesting informations. We strongly recommend this tour, and Alexander.

My husband and I went on the sloth tour and we had an absolutely amazing experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and friendly and he was able to point out 5 sloths, a snake, various birds and a poisonous red frog. At the end of our tour we were treated to a surprise walk through their butterfly garden. As a part of the tour experience we were also offered coffee and tea. We sat at a table with the guides and had a wonderful conversation about many things. This was one of the highlights of the tour experience. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and fun loving.. If you're ever in Bijagua I would highly recommend this tour by Jungle Life.

Great tour! Our guide Danny was great and very knowledgeable! If you want to see the most amount of animals I’d recommend to go at night but the day tour was still so cool and I saw lots of animals!

This was a perfect quick “overview” of rainforest wildlife. Wilton was a great tour guide and none of us could figure out how he spotted the animals- all we saw were leaves… he found 5 sloths, 3 frogs (including a red frog with blue legs), and explained a lot of the flowers and other interesting facts about the rainforest. Highly recommend for a family that isn’t into hiking but wants to see life in the rainforest!

I had an amazing night tour. It was very nice of them to let me join a tour at a very last minute notice. Steve was my guide and his enthusiasm for animals made this tour even better. He tried very hard to find me cool animals to sight and I couldn't be luckier as I have seen so many amazing things during the tour. I absolutely loved the tour and highly recommend it.

Our wonderful guide Daniel showed us three kinds of toucans, a laughing falcon, multiple sloths including one climbing, glass wing butterflies, blue Jean frogs, and much more. His enthusiasm was enjoyable. Easy walking paths and excellent experience

Our guide was superb at utilizing his telescope to get some of the best photos of wildlife I’ve ever seen. The conditions were perfect, the wildlife was amazing and we saw so many interesting views. Time seemed to stand still and the knowledge of our tour guide was so great and he was very informative. Ask for ‘Steve’ if you want the best experience.

Phenomenal!! Quaint location and well-planned ecosystem. It's a private tour and our guide Wilton... excellent! He was very kind, passionate and knows quite a lot. I would highly suggestion going here. We saw so many things... amazing things. While Mistico is highly rated and it was good, I honestly enjoyed this tour a lot more. It was almost a one stop shop and done in one hour... how can you go wrong??? Top three things we saw: Sloth, Howler Monkey, Toucan - what's not to love about this place. Ask for Wilton every time! You won't be disappointed.

Great tour in a small preserve. They are adept at finding and showing wildlife and are very knowledgeable of the various species.
