I was lucky enough to experience this wine tour having booked through Viator. It lives up to the 5 star reviews. It was faultless from start to finish. Our Guide Gigi (his nickname meaning gentle giant) was an absolute star, full of knowledge and interesting and exciting stories throughout the day. We also got to enjoy some fabulous food and wine in spectacular settings! What a treat... Definitely a bucket list tick box for anyone keen to explore the area in a day.

Our guide was great, very positive about South Africa and knowledgeable about wine. We were very delayed due to an accident on the motorway and didn’t get to do all the wine farms on the schedule, but Paul made it a special day nonetheless. Lots of lovely wines, a diversion to Plaisir highly recommended.

This day trip to the Stellenbosch region was fabulous. Started at the Fairview Wine Estate where wines were paired with cheese. Delicious! Franschhoek Town was next where we walked the town filled with wine stores, art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. Pretty town and so many options for lunch. Took the Wine Tram (great idea so you could go from one winery to the next without driving)! We stopped at the Rickety Bridge Farm...so much fun to try so many wines. This Winery was started by Paulina De Villiers in 1797. Last stop was the rustic wine farm of Muratie. Dessert wines paired with chocolate. Unbelievable experience, with an exceptional tour guide for the day! Highly suggest this private guided tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Winelands tour with Liezel. She was very informative and kind. Klein Goederust winery was charming, Babylonstoren gardens were breathtaking and The tasting we had at Fairview was unmatched. We had such a lovely day.

Our Guide was informative and interesting. The vineyards were all different so we had a variety of experiences.

Our guide Gerhardus Pretorius was an enchanting, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We had a wonderful experience visiting Fairview and thoroughly enjoyed its Master Tasting. We then got a delightful taste of Franschhoek. Afterwards we visited Babylonstoren Gardens where we indulged in a delightful Chardonnay/MCC Tasting and a couple of delicious platters for lunch. Our final stop was Muratie for a Chocolate & Wine Tasting. We loved the setting, wines, and the chocolates. A ride through Stellenbosch revealed a lovely university town. We highly recommend this tour and our guide Gerhardus Pretorius.

We scheduled a one day Winelands Explore of Stellenbosch Franschhoek Paarl Regions with Hotspots2c and had a fabulous day! Our guide TK was outstanding!! He was knowledgeable, friendly and ensured our day ran effortlessly. We had a wonderful lunch at Reuben's in Franschhoak which was delicious! Thank you to Hotspots2c and TK for making our wine tasting in South Africa such an amazing day!

What a fabulous day and experience we had courtesy of Hotspots2c! Our guide (JP) was brilliant, very knowledgeable about wines and made sure that we were thoroughly looked after at every vineyard we visited - absolutely nothing was too much trouble, and the vineyard at Muratie with its own history an experience in itself. And the wines - superb!!!!! This trip was one of the highlights of our South Africa holiday with very happy memories of a fantastic day and I would absolutely recommend Hotspots2c to anyone considering one of their tours. A great time had by all.

Our tour of the Winelands was excellent. Each of the three farms we visited was unique and treated us to delicious wine with cheese or chocolate pairings. The scenery along the way was beautiful.

We were picked up on time in a marvelous air conditioned van and driven out to wine country. Our guide TK was very informative about Cape Town and other townships on our drive out. He knew much history and stories. Our first stop at Fairview in the Paarl region was lovely, very neat wine barrel style bars with knowledgeable host and 6 wines paired with cheese and meat. Our second stop was lunch, I forget the name of the restaurant but it was delicious. Then a shop experience in Franschhoek and the drive to the tram to go to Rickety Bridge. We had 2 wines there and our last stops Muratie had 3 wines and paired chocolates. It was a very old winery with stone walls and no updates. Was a great time and would recommend!

We had an amazing private tour of Paarl, Stellenbosch, and Francshoek with Liezel. The company was very communicative prior to the tour, contacting me via Whatsapp to confirm pick up date, time, and location. I had seen a few wineries that I wanted to visit, and Liezel was able to adjust our itinerary to suit our needs . Liezel picked us up from our hotel on time, and was very informative throughout the tour. Conversation came easily with her, and it felt like we were traveling with a friend, rather than a tour guide. Liezel was highly organized and we kept a leisurely, but on time, pace throughout the day. We went to 3 wineries, had time for lunch in Franschoek, and were able to ride the wine tram for a short time. We learnt a lot exploring the winelands with her. She even gave us some travel tips for the next time we're in town. I'd highly recommend her, and will definitely use her company again when next in Cape Town.

First Liezel was a great guide. She was knowledgeable, prompt, helpful and enthusiastic. She chose a diversity of winery experiences that created a sense of adventure. She picked the 12 of us up at the one and Only hotel on the Waterfront 9:00 am and we were back a bit after 6:30 pm. Second everyone at the wineries were helpful, informative, friendly and fun. Lunch in Stellenbosh was delightful. Finally the wines were excellent and varied. We all bought some.

Liezel De Klerk was an amazing guide. Great choice of wineries with a variety of unique experiences and wines. A special day for our group of 12. Everyone loved it
