Fun and filling food tour!! Really an excellent way to spend an afternoon in Iceland! Dagur our guide was super friendly and helpful! A couple was late to the tour and he worked hard to find them. I also had an accounting issue and he reached out to management on my behalf!! Really a good tour and a good guide!

Highly recommend this food tour while visiting Reykjavik. You visit 5 different restaurants and at some restaurants you try more than one dish (about 8 dishes in total). Portion sizes are more than big enough. At the end of the tour you will definitely be full. Make sure you're hungry when you start the tour. Our tour guide was Day and he did a wonderful job. He gave a lot of information about Icelandic culture and history. His enthusiasm made the tour that much more enjoyable.

We had a wonderful walk and tasting experience with Dagur. He was entertaining and the food selection was varied and filled us for the rest of the day. Highly recommended to include as part of your visit.

This has got to be a must do tour if you are in Reykjavik. Our guide Dei (sorry not sure how to spell your name) was simply amazing. He is very knowledgeable and really friendly and easy to get on with. We went to 5 different places from breakfast to ice cream. The food was amazing and I know have loads more places to go and eat dinner!!

Tour guide was late by 30 minutes. We asked for a recipe to one of the foods and she wrote “Huey Dooey and Louie”. She did that to make fun of us since there were 3 people in our group. Her name is Emma. Horrible experience, do not recommend.

While browsing listings, it might seem like just another tour, but it turned out to be a delightful surprise. Not only did it introduce us to the wonderful world of Icelandic cuisine, but it also gave us an intimate guided tour of downtown Reykjavik, allowing us to discover hidden gems on foot. There are so many things that made this tour unforgettable: Ben: If you happen to be reading this, Ben, please know that you were absolutely incredible. Your warmth, friendliness, and detailed explanations of each dish made the experience truly special. Ben's humor added an extra layer of fun, and his food recommendations (like the food hall with the sushi and Indian spots) became our go-to guide for the rest of our trip. We've visited Iceland before and were disappointed with our food experiences, but thanks to Ben, we've savored so many delicious dishes from various places—all of them fantastic. The Food: From hot dogs to tacos to traditional Icelandic rye bread and hot plates, every bite on this tour was a culinary adventure. It opened up a whole new side of Iceland for us, and we loved every moment. Variety of Places: We sampled a diverse range of cuisines, and each stop offered something unique. We had a blast at every location, and trying shark meat with brennvin was an experience we won't forget. The tour struck the perfect balance—it was long enough to explore plenty of places and try lots of food, but the leisurely walks in between allowed us to digest and savor each culinary delight. I honestly do not know where to begin- this tour seems so underrated when you see its listing, and turns out to be a complete surprise. It not only opened up our minds to Icelandic food, but also made us walk all around downtown reykjavik, allowing us to get a quick guided tour of the city on foot. Things I loved include: 1. BEN- if you are reading this, I would really like you to know that you were absolutely amazing. Extremely warm, friendly and explained every dish to the tee. Ben is super funny, and gave us amazing food recommendations (like the food hall with the sushi place and indian place), and we absolutely lived off his recommendations for the rest of our trip. We have been to iceland before, and did not enjoy our food experience at all. This time, thanks to Ben, we have stuffed ourselves with so many different dishes from so many different places- and they've all been amazing 2. The food- From the hot dogs to the tacos to the traditional Icelandic rye bread and hot plates, every thing on this tour is something you absolutely cannot miss. It truly did open up a new side of iceland for us. 3. The variety of places- We tried very different food types, and none of the food was the same as the previous place. We had a gala time at each place, and even tried shark meat with brennvin, which was truly an experience to remember The tour was long enough to show us enough places and try enough food, and the walks in between were perfectly planned so as to not make us walk too much but at the same time allow us to digest the excessive food that we had consumed at the previous stop. Definitely worth every penny, and the food given is worth so much more than the price paid- Thank you Ben!

Traveled from VT for a girls trip and did the Foodie Tour. Our guides name was Love and she was fantastic. Our group of 16 was comprised of singles, couples, sisters and a family of 4. Everyone enjoyed each stop on the tour.

Bryndis was an excellent guide and answered all of our questions while helping us get a feel for the city on our first day in Reykjavik. She even provided some recommendations for other places to check out during our short time.

Ben is an amazing tour guide! He took his time walking and got to know all of us well. Highly recommend him. The food was all delicious and large portions. We went to 5 places, and even after the first stop I would have felt like I had a full meal. It’s not always that way on food tours. Pace yourself, because the last stop is dessert and it is the best!!
