We had a fantastic time from start to finish!! Great company, great wine, and they have the pasta class and cooking down to a science. My +1 said he would have liked to make the sauce, but between time and equipment I can see how that's a lot to ask. We had a lot of fun making our pasta, and of course eating it! Looking forward to using my new skill!

Our amazing teacher, Niko, met us at the train station right after our train arrived and gave us a tour of Frascati along with some interesting facts about the town and its wine culture. On top of this he lead an amazing pasta making class and was kind and humorous throughout. All in all an amazing experience!

We had a great time doing this! We have two teenage boys 15 and 18 and they really liked it as well. It was nice to get out of busy Rome and have a break from the heat and this was an easy train ride from Rome the food that we made the pasta was delicious and the wine was great as well. I would 100% recommend this to anyone coming to Rome.

Highly recommend taking this class! It was a perfect little day trip away from the chaos of Rome, train tickets are cheap and it’s extremely easy to get to. Our tour guide, Rosie, did a great job explaining the history of the town and took us on a little tour before we got started. The wine tasting was incredible and we even saw the old cellar that were used to make wine and learn the history behind them. Of course, there’s the pasta!!!! Not only did we learn to make this but I am still dreaming of how good the pasta was……. It was some of the best pasta I had in Italy!! Thank you for spending the afternoon with us Rosie! I would highly recommend this!

Wow, probably our favorite experience while we were in Rome! Such an easy experience from booking a $4 train ride to this charming little town to our host meeting us right at the train station. She was so friendly and knew so much history about the town of Frascati. The cooking class was fun, the wine was delicious, and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get out of the chaos of Rome!

I was initially confused why there were only 5 star reviews. After taking the class, I would give this experience a 6 star review if I could. So much fun and we definitely lucked out with our group. The pasta at the end was delicious!

This is very highly recommended. I had such a wonderful experience. We had such a great group and everyone enjoyed the wine and the pasta making. I can't wait to get home and make some pasta from scratch. I can't stop raving about the wine.

This is an awesome experience. The operators are amazing, the facts about the village (still part of Rome) were interesting and their service was good! The food preparation was fun, easy and the result was tasty!!! Awesome afternoon out!

So much fun!! Great experience to have in Rome. Me and my family really enjoyed it. Best part was seating together to taste the meal we created together.

We were in Italy for ten days and this activity was our highlight! We were really really impressed by the team and the activity. The team were so friendly and helpful, and the class was so fun and informative! It was great to taste local wines and we had the option to buy some more at a very reasonable price! We were taught how to make pasta from scratch and then given the option of three different types of sauces. The activity also included a short walking tour and a tour of their old wine cellars. The small group size allowed conversation and collaboration which added to the experience. Particularly after tasting a few glasses of wine!

A genuinely incredible cooking class, I'd recommend it to absolutely everyone! The main man was so friendly and helpful, telling us so much info, teaching us clearly how to make the pasta well, helping each student if necessary, giving us so much history about the area even showing us around the cellar. We were around the table with a few other groups/couples making the pasta and drinking wine, it was such a lovely afternoon and the pasta was delicious in the end! Thank you so much for having us and teaching us how to make pasta, I've made it at home since! The only thing I would recommend is to get to the train station early as we were very confused by the correct train platform and ended up missing it so hard to get a taxi!

Such a fun and delicious night! Our awesome hostess Giulia met us at the train station and took us on a brief walking tour of the beautiful town of Frascati. The views were amazing! Next we went to her family's business downtown, where we started with a tasting of two white Frascati wines made by her family. Both were delicious, it was hard to pick a favorite. The wines were accompanied by small individual charcuterie boards. Next was the pasta making class, which was so much fun! We learned how to make different types of pasta and now I know how to cut it by hand instead of using the Kitchenaid pasta attachment :) While our pasta cooked, the chef showed us how to make the sauce we chose to go with it. Wine was offered for purchase by the bottle to drink during the class and with your dinner. After dinner we got a brief, interesting tour of the old cellar where they used to store the wines.

Making pasta from scratch and tasting great Frascati wine. What more could you ask for? And Frascati is an easy-to-get-to beautiful hill down not far from Rome.

AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We took thr train (which requires an app for the train purchase) $1.50 each way or buy tickets to Frascati station at a kiosk at the train station. U meet the guide at the Frascati station where u walk 5 min up some steps and around the village to the location (from scratch) in Frascati. U make pasta, sauce and even have some yummy wine to round out the experience. Walk around town before heading back to rome. U can drive it as well in about 30 min.

I was on holiday in Rome and decided to try something different on the last day. I booked the pasta making session with From Scratch, and I can honestly say that this was the highlight of my entire trip (Rome included). I joined in with the afternoon class after the rest of my morning group cancelled at short notice. The host, Irene, made sure I wasn't left out as we ventured into the city for coffee and a 1-to-1 tour of Frascati! The pasta making class itself was superb - we had a friendly group of around 15 people and had great laughs as we created our pasta, explored the wine cellar, and tasted some delicious wines. I count myself incredibly lucky that I found this experience!
