Leo was the perfect guide for our trip. He came right on time to pick us up at our hotel. On our way to Ninh Binh, and throughout our trip, he shared many historical and cultural facts with us. While this was quite a trek on such a hot day, he encouraged us on our way up the Mua steps and never pushed us more than my family of 5 could handle. The views at the top are breathtaking and absolutely worth it. Our boat ride through Tam Coc was wonderful and Leo provided us great tips (and umbrellas) to better enjoy our ride. Shout out to our wonderful boat guide. Food for lunch was abundant and yummy. The jeep ride through the quieter back roads away from the tourist centre is 100% recommended. Thank you, Leo for the adventure!

Had a fantastic time on the ninh binh tour + boat ride + Vespa. Great guide Han was very knowledgeable and patient. Be warned to those who go to Mua Cave steps. There are over 500 steps, which are uneven, with no handrails and the heat is INTENSE with no humidity. We found a small shop selling cold drinks 3/4 was up but couldn’t make it any further. I don’t feel this was reflected in the description when I booked through Viator. The rest of the day however, was FANTASTIC. The boat ride through Tam Hoc was amazing and we saw the dragon at the top of the mountain this way. The Vespa tour then navigated the backroads of the limestone cliffs and then through the town. Lunch was great and catered for vegetarians and peanut allergies. Would 100% recommend this tour (just know how hard those steps are!) and you will be lucky to get Han as a guide.

An incredible day we will never forget. Breathtaking scenery and our tourgide, Han was so friendly and knowledgeable. We took the vespa option and had the time of our lives riding through the stunning countryside. Definitely a must do for anyone visiting north Vietnam

Phenomenal tour! Our guide, Han, was very personable and knowledgeable. He was very kind offering to take photos and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The sites were stunning, and it was a great opportunity to learn more about Vietnam. We were also very impressed with the home stay - very friendly owners, beautiful property, and wonderful and plentiful food. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ninh Binh.

Had a great time on this tour in Ninh Binh! The first hike was not for the faint of heart, but the view worth it. Boating through Tam Coc was the best way to take in the sights, and riding around in an old jeep was really cool. Leo was a really easygoing and informative guide throughout! Highly recommended.

Leo was awesome and informative. He took extra steps just so that my family and I would be comfortable. I got sick during the hike and he stayed behind to make sure I would not fall.

I had a fantastic time on the Ninh Binh tour with Chris. The activities were well-planned and engaging, and visiting the local villages was a highlight. The local food was delicious and added to the authentic experience. Our tour guide, Chris, was exceptional—informative, helpful, and always ready to share useful information. Really enjoyed my days trip to Ninh Binh. Hi was a great tour Gide, he is very knowledgeable, friendly and funny! We packed so much in to one day, it was fantastic. Definitely recommend you do this tour if you are in Hanoi

We absolutely loved this tour! The mountain views over the river were gorgeous, the river boat ride was wonderful and the tour guide Hai made it really fun and enjoyable. The motorbike tour was oh so fun!! Lots of amazing scenery and some adventurous roads to travel :) Hai's English was excellent and he really looked after us, proving extra water and umbrellas to make sure we were ok. Highly recommend :)

I had the privilege of having Danny and Mai as my tour guide for my day trip to Ninh Binh. Danny and Mai were very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire tour. I did the early bird option so there were little to no crowds in the morning when we did the Hoa Lu. The scenery and experience was incredible. Highly recommend this tour if you have the privilege of staying in Hanoi.

I loved the river boat ride. It had such spectacular, memory-creating views. The scooter ride was fun, too. Han was a great tour guide. He took good care of us. He knew a lot about the Buddhist religious practices of the Vietnamese people.

Han was an amazing tour guide! He did a phenomenal job keeping a multi-generational group of two 60 year olds and two 30 year olds happy together. Everything was so fun -- from the stellar views of the hike to the 1.5 hour boat ride to the motor scooter tour in the countryside. Highly recommend!!!
