Allie was our guide and she was great! Tried foods we wouldn't have otherwise, & explored the Barranco district which was wonderful! Loved the empanadas barranco. Had so much food (a sample breakfast, lunch and dinner within a 4 hour period). Ended the evening with a stop for ice cream. Great way to spend our first day in Peru!

This food tour is a must if visiting Lima. Our guide Yozelin was great - very sweet, accommodating and educational. We got to sample a variety of different foods and even were shown how some of the dishes/drinks were prepared. In between the tastings we for to walk around an interesting part of the city and even visit an art museum. Overall, a fun experience that was worth the money.

This tour is so worth the hype. Valeria our guide was absolutely amazing. She created a great experience and the restaurant choices were outstanding. The tour catered nicely for vegetarians. I would absolutely recommend.

Marcos was our guide, and met us just where the instructions pointed, at the correct time! He was pleasant, and spoke excellent English! Not only did he have a great personality, but he was very informative and helped us learn more about the Peruvian culinary history and agriculture. On the tour, we tried a wide variety of dishes from chocolate tea to beef heart! There was a cooking demonstration, and between meals, Marcos showed us around the Baranco neighborhood, pointing out landmarks, which allowed time to settle our stomachs! The highlights for us were certainly the ceviche demonstration, the beautiful Bridge of Sighs area, and the very fun multi-generational pisco sour tasting, to cap the night. An excellent time with an excellent guide! Thanks again, Marcos! He even helped to make sure we found our Uber back to the hotel!

Very knowledgeable, patient, thorough tour guide! Went the extra mile to show us the way to walk back to our hotel. Excellent guide and highly recommend. Very generous food portions and great selections of venues to showcase local foods and beverages. Almost too much food so bring your appetite! A small group but fun.

Visiting from U.S. and wanted a quick/fun exposure to local cuisine, this food tour was perfect! Yozelin Alva was our guide, she met the group promptly as scheduled, introduced herself, gathered the tour group & initiated brief introductions, was informative, friendly, and professional throughout the evening! Everyone has a great time, I learned plenty of new things and the food & drinks were delicious! I definitely recommend this food tour for first-time visitors to Lima! I even invited a friend who lives locally and she enjoyed it very much as well.

This is a wonderful tour and introduction to traditional Peruvian food and traditions. Our guide, Yoselin Alva, was a wonderful, kind and knowledgeable person. The tour is well paced, with short walks between tastings which are necessary to allow you to be able to eat all of the delicious food and generous portions that are offered.

We had an amazing night with Yozelin, who was so friendly and informative. I learned loads of new things and enjoyed super tasty food and drinks. Would 100% recommend. (Although… more pisco sours would be lovely 😂)

What an amazing experience. Balleria was such a delight. The variety, quantity and quality of each restaurant, Cafe and bar was ofmthe highest quality. We have participated in many food tours across a number of countries and this ws by far the best. All 6 in our group were very satisfied.

A brilliant and well organised trip and experience. I was a bit sceptical at first and the meeting place wasn’t inspiring so I was pleasantly surprised how good this was . A good introduction to Peruvian food and also the general culture of Lima Life .

The tour was so great that I returned to one of the spots next day. Ceci was an amazing guide, very friendly and concern about creating a nice group experience, besides, of course, sharing great stories x about Lima cuisine. Since I’m traveling solo, the tour was also a good experience for trying more types of food (since plates are huge in Peru).

Nice selection of restaurants & dishes with some neighborhood landmarks mixed in. Tour was not rushed, took about 4 hours.

Overall, the tour was pretty good. I'd recommend trying to go on the tour at the beginning of your trip, otherwise you might run the risk of repeating some of the stops you've already made. I was disappointed in only being able to try four fruits during this tour, while I tried a dozen on a tour the week before.
