Highly recommended! This tour is perfect for those who only have half a day to explore. The timing was excellent and well paced, and we spent a relaxed Sunday learning about these places and Georgia's history. Chinka and Lasha were a fun bunch, ensuring there was never a dull moment during the tour.

This is the second time we booked via budget friendly tours and they are a wonderful group of people who make u feel warm and welcoming, and take you through the country. Would recommend them for a tour in Georgia totally.

Chinka our tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and has great energy. She was easy to talk to and fun. We went to two UNESCO sites and it was very interesting and different to all the tour we have been to. Would highly recommended this tour it’s a short one as well so that’s better. We had wine tasting too and it was perfect. Til next time Chinka and hope you can travel to Hawaii someday to the island of Maui. See you next time

This is the third time I have had the pleasure of traveling with our host, Chinka. And, as with the previous excursions, she was both extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Her energy made the history come alive! The locations we visited were both immensely interesting and remarkably different. Through Chinka, we learned the why, which for me created an even more enjoyable and memorable trip. I would heartily recommend this trip. The 4 hours passed much too swiftly!

Went with Chinka and other group from Portugal. All of them were gem together. To be honest, I enjoyed their company more than the places and history. Chinka should be teaching all the guides how group tours should be run and operated. There was a hiccup in terms of late pickup and lack of communication but it had been compensated.

The tour to Jvari Cathedral and Mtskheta was wonderful. The view of Mtskheta from Jvari is gorgeous, and the churches themselves are really beautiful and full of history. Our guide, Chinka, was so much fun and had a ton of specialized knowledge. I would recommend this if you’re looking for something interesting and easy for a half-day.

Great experience overall. Got to see a beautiful 6th century monastery overlooking the town below, which was very beautiful. Makuna is a very knowledgeable and fun guide to be with. We also went into town and saw a beautiful 11th century monastery. We ended the tour with some nice wine tasting. Definitely would recommend to anyone interested in seeing some beautiful nature and interesting history.

This was an excellent tour, and was a stand-out tour for my time in Tbilisi. Our guides, Lasha and Chinka were both very welcoming and open-minded. Our guides were also extremely funny and personable and made us laugh a lot, and made the tour a lot of fun for me. They were very knowledgable about Jvari, Mtskheta and the Georgian wine industry, so I was glad it was a quality tour. They were able to provide a really excellent overview of the sites/ wines, and answered questions about Georgian culture and history more generally. Time spent at each location was well thought-out and did not feel rushed, or too long. It was excellent value for the price. The four hours were over so quickly. I would recommend this tour to friends and family visiting Tbilisi.

Mtskheta was amazing and the information we learned about the place (and how to properly pronounce it) through our tour guide, Dimitri, was very useful. Beso, our driver, made sure the drive was smooth and every stop was on time. How I wish the tour was longer but you really get the most for four hours and just $20!

The tour was amazing we enjoyed very much, it was a wonderful experience. It is 4 hours long and yet there are so many things to do. The church of 11 th century svetickoveli is simply beautifull. Givi(Freddy) explained everything in detail while maintaining a positive vibe. Mtsketa, the first capital of Georgia truly is a hidden gem of this amazing country. Timing is perfect and thankfully there was no delay as well. Dimitri (sorry if I spell it wrong) was friendly and well taken care of the group and Hi bye guy was super fun intro in the beginning loved that introducing the driver to us :)) we had a chance to try Georgian dessert and wine but no pressure on purchase like it’s written on the tour description. Our tour group everyone was engaging since Dimitri was trying to make all of us feel comfortable and enjoy. It was 4 hour short tour highly recommended if you have only one day layover or short days.

The trip was veryy nice and informative, the view from Javri was breathtaking! I alsoo really enjoyed walking around in mtskheta markets, it has lots of local products and the nice architecture. Our tour guides chinka and lasha were super friendly and fun! They made sure everyone enjoyed the trip and was comfortable Shout out to Lasha’s singing voice on our way back to tblisi!

A beautiful old capital of Georgia! Amazing historical monuments well taken care of by UNESCO . We planned our trip with Budget Friendly Tours and they are the best in town as all their guides are super energetic and informative! We did our trip with Givi and Nikolas- very young and full of life they made our experience so amazing with David who was our bus driver ❤️ with a little wine tasting at the end of the tour!
