It’s hard to describe just how beautiful, blue, and clear the glacially-filtered water is. Pairing that with the variable depth and plant life found in Silfra, and you have an unforgettable memory. The dive.is team was extremely professional, and really make sure you felt safe and warm in your dry suit. The free hot chocolate and cookies at the end of our tour was a nice touch. Our guide, Papi, had lots of interesting facts and stories, and was a lot of fun to be around. Overall, an obvious highlight of our Iceland adventure.

Really unique experience. Clear water and cold, but the suits provided made it pleasant. Get there early as parking can be tough and about 10 minute walk away. Gabe was an excellent guide.

Nico was great! He explained the history of Silfra well and was very friendly. I liked the pictures he took and the facts he pointed out along the snorkeling

This dive was super cool! We could see all the way to the bottom of the fissure even though it was cloudy and it was only cold at first. David was an amazing guide who kept track of us and ensured our suits did not leak!

Hey papi! Our guide was awesome, the entire crew that runs this is down to earth and easy to hang with while you get prepared. Now the adventure, another level of epic. Beautiful crystal clear water that was every bit as tasty as it was clear. Absolutely worth your time and money. And unlike most spots they didn’t try to scam you with photos after, our entire group of 5 got all the photos for $20. Papi was our guide and was one of a kind. Must do during your trip.

Nico and Hanna were fantastic. They were very professional from the very beginning until the end and made us feel very comfortable on the dive before and after. Both were very knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. This was truly an amazing dive and well worth the trip to Iceland alone. Make sure you go and ask for Nico and Hanna.

We had the best experience with Gabe our guide for this snorkeling adventure. The lake was beautiful and we felt very comfortable and taken care during the whole experience. Not so much widelife but did see some beautiful birds swimming through the lake.

Loved the experience - the water was so clear! Gabe was a great guide to go along with. Beware - the water is cold and your face will be freezing by the end of it.

This is an unmissable experience under expert guidance and with excellent equipment - essential for dipping a flipper into the Silfra fissure. Thanks to Kevin and Henry this was an unforgettable swim through the tectonic plates pulling Iceland in two. From the initial briefing to suiting up, the actual 40 minutes in the water and the post swim catch up and hot chocolate I can’t recommend this highly enough for anyone fortunate enough to be able to take part.

What an amazing life experience! Not gonna lie, I was a little worried about the cold H2O temperatures when I booked the trip, but Jana and the DIVE.IS team did a great job of outfitting us to the point where it never again crossed my mind. Jana was a great guide- caring, fun, always felt safe and she was awesome with my 13 and 17 year old daughters.
