The tour was quite informative. The guide moved through the information at a nice pace. We learned a lot about the Frank family, their experience, and the Jewish community during WWII. With our two boys, ages 12 and 14, they learned a lot during the tour.

Yoshi was simply excellent at taking us back through the horrific times of the Nazis occupation of Amsterdam and putting the decimation of the Jewish community in the context of the time and how they were incrementally left with ever decreasing options to survive. His understanding of the history and skillful telling of the tale were a truly unforgettable experience.

Ámsterdam is special in many ways and that attracts diverse populations looking to have a nice life. This tour connects history with the future. Allows you to learn, see and understand key moments of the holocaust and the story about Anne, which for me is a representation of so many others that need to hide. The tour takes you thru historic locations and in the meantime , the guide, in our case Anete , makes the walk even more interesting and fun. By the way, Anete a young immigrant is a testament of how liberty gives chances to anyone with attitude to thrive,

Edwin was very nice and was able to answer questions very well. He portrayed a dark and complicated topic in an easy to grasp way which made you feel great at the end of the tour, because one was able to take in a lot of info in such a short amount of time without there being any loose ends or points of confusion. Yet he still managed to put a lot of weight on the terrible and focus on the atrocities of ww2, while still keeping up the positive learning atmosphere.

Our guide Yaris was excellent, so informative and funny. Walked at a good pace and gave us a chance to rest for a while. We learnt so much. Showed us bits of history that you wouldn’t have noticed on your own. The Anne Frank museum was very touching and made us think of how terrible it was for her and her family. I got very tearful at The war memorial.

Holocaust monument. 100,300 bricks with the names of those who were murdered!! Our guide was very knowledgeable! Also the nameplates in the side walks in front of homes that were stolen from the people who died in the camps. Their name and where they died was on the nameplates!

This is a quick tour, but well worth it. It includes a 10 minute introduction which gave a timeline of events. Then the tour of the annex where Anne's family & family friends lived begins. Heartbreaking to say the least.
