Meet your knowledgeable guide at your hotel lobby. After one hour driving, you will start your exciting sightseeing tour from Zhujiajiao water town. It's the best-preserved water town in the area with history over 1700 years. There are old bridges, antiquated architecture and bubbling streams. You can wander along the canal, stroll around the old lanes, visit few houses with gardens. Later, enjoy a relaxing boat riding on the canal to see beautiful surrounding. Don't miss out the opportunity to take some fabulous pictures.
Revitalize yourself with a delicious lunch in a local restaurant where you can have some local delicious dishes.

Stop At: Yu Garden (Yuyuan), No.218 Anren Street, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200010 China
In the afternoon, you will go back to Shanghai city, and visit Yuyuan Garden, a very ancient and well-preserved garden with the history of 400years old. You will see the stylish Chinese pavilion and authentic old architectures. Or you will have an alternative option to visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple instead(Yuyuan Garden closed on every Monday).
Duration: 40 minutes
Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China
Then, continue to the Bund where you will see amazing city skyline, including the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center Shanghai Tower, Shanghai Tower and colonial buildings along the Huangpu River. It surely lights up your whole trip in Shanghai.

We booked a private tour only a few days prior to arriving in Shanghai, however, Alana was able to secure visas for all 8 members of our family and created a customized itinerary for us. She communicated frequently with us to ensure that we would get through immigration seamlessly and she was present to greet us warmly upon our arrival. Our guide, Caroline, was very sweet, knowledgeable and wonderful. She accommodated our requests and make excellent recommendations based on our interests and wishes. We had our elderly mother and 2 very young children with us and she was extremely patient with all of us. We had the very best meal of our entire 2 week trip at a restaurant that Caroline took us to and it was included in the tour package along with entrance fees to all the sites we visited. We felt very secure and safe with the driver. We were on a cruise with only 1 day to spend in Shanghai and it is because of Alana and Caroline that we would all love to return for a longer period of time to Shanghai. I had an amazing time with Snow! She took me to Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai Tower, Yuyuan Garden and most importantly the Zhujiajiao Water Village! We had a delicious lunch of local freshwater fish, kung pao chicken while at the Water Village and sampled many unique street foods. I especially loved the dried peach, the sticky rice red bean bun and Shanghai yogurt. I highly recommend this tour! Snow was so knowledgeable, patient and friendly and our driver Mr. Gao was dependable and safe.
