The tour covered everything described above. Spiros lead our tour and he was funny, informative, friendly and casual. Although this was a shared boat and shared trip, he did consider the group needs and made extra stops and give us more time on different spots. Definitely recommend this tour, great value for the money.
Leonidas our tour guide was amazing. From pick up to drop off he was full of energy, funny, entertaining and provided great music and sing alongs. Unfortunately, our tour started 3.5 hours late due to Covid and police issues in one of the destinations, however after pick up things kicked off with lots of fun! We went to a few look out points which were fab for photos, but would’ve been nice to know a little more history or be told where we were going as we drove along. Next we went to a lookout point overlooking the West of the island and a natural amphitheater. Beautiful views and interesting facts about the olives, but this stop was far too long and people looked visibly bored. After a beautiful drive and pit stop to the top of Xigia Beach (15 mins for photos of the INCREDIBLE view and to buy your own snacks) we boarded the boats for Shipwreck (Nagavio) Beach. Everyone on the tour got very excited which was lovely to see. It was a bucketlist destination of mine And I was buzzing with anticipation. However, the clouds came and the waves got choppy so we were only able to get close and take pictures from the boat. I was truly heart broken as I had looked forward to visiting for YEARS! Ugh. I understand weather gets in the way, but would’ve been nice if they suggested another short tour or quick boat service (even if we had to pay) that could take us there another day, but nothing was said. After that we went to some caves for a nice swim but that was very short, maybe 20-30 mins. We swam in one cave, and jumped off a high rock once and it was time to swim back in. After that we transferred to a glass bottom boat. However, we weren’t told it was glass bottom and we missed even looking down as people were in the way. We went to the blue caves but weren’t able to swim there, it was literally looking at them for ten mins and we were off again. It was pretty disappointing to be honest. The most annoying part was the tour guides seemed to favour one Instagram model girl and let her lay across the front of the boat by herself and none of the rest of the 30 or so people on the tour were allowed there to take pictures of the scenery and caves (that we all paid €60 pp for!). Furthermore, as she laid herself across the front of the boat all our pictures have her in them. As gorgeous as she was, that’s not what I paid the money for and it made the a Japanese family with small kids with us really uncomfortable. It wasn’t her fault at all but the tour operators either should’ve let everyone up there or no one at all. It was odd. After that we went to get dinner, it was nice, but again, awkward. It wasn’t a cheap restaurant. Although we had the budget for it and had a beautiful meal with spectacular views and service, many of the younger travellers with us couldn’t afford it and were embarrassed by the prices so they just say drinking Cola and sharing a starter. We were there for 2 hours which was simply too long. If you pay for a 8 hour tour - you want an 8 hour tour. Not 6 and missing the most important part - actually going to Shipwreck beach! The things that made up for the many disappointments were the fabulous staff. Leonidas kept us laughing the entire trip and was good fun and energy to have around. He treated everyone so well and made us all laugh with his stories, dancing and “magic tricks”. Towards the end of the tour it was obvious we were racing against time due to starting so late in the day. We got to Laganas but didn’t have time to visit Cameo Island as we had to be back on the shuttle. A lot of things were just “jump out, take a picture”. I think if they changed the name to “the Instagram photo tour” it would make a lot more sense and would sell well. But as a television presenter and travel vlogger I wanted more substance, memories and stories. I wanted to “feel” the experiences, not just quickly see them. For the disappointments I would leave 2 stars, but due to the exceptional customer service and laughter all day long I am leaving 4 stars.
A wonderful day to explore the island and see the most beautiful sea. The caves and jumping in for a swim was real highlight. Spiros was our guide is very friendly and helpful.
Amazing whole day trip. We did so much! Guides are great photographers and full of friendly jokes! You have to do this tour if you came to Zante!!
Was a long day but worth it. The water on the way to the caves and the shipwreck beach was Amazing throught out. Stopped for a swim on the way to shipwreck beach and the water was just great. Shipwreck beach view is amazing from top and the beach.
Highly recommended for all the tourists in Zante to explore the island and key destinations in a day. Our tour guide ( Spiros ) was very attentive and hilarious and kept everyone entertained all way around .
1-day tour where you can see and visit most of the main highlights of the island, especially the breathtaking Navagio Beach and Blue Caves!
Very nice guide and helpful staff from the agency.
Highly recommended if you don't have much time to spend on the island and you want to catch the Real essence of it!
Tour is highly recommended to everyone. We were picked up from hotel at around 8.15 by very funny and nice hosts Spiros and Leo.
You get to visit all touristic places during this tour.
Lunch stop was after Navagio beach visit, being vegetarians we really didn't have any option to eat. Spiros tried make some customised vegetarian dishes our us. It was okay and good.
We came back to zakynthos town around 5.30PM.
I wasn't 100% sure what we'd signed up to, Shipwreck viewpoint and boat trip aside (inc. blue caves), but was pleasantly surprised to get a few other stop offs on the day. It seemed to me to be a pleasant time of year to go - not too busy but still warm enough to enjoy a leisurely hour or so on the beach and dip or two in the beautifully cooling sea waters.
Our guide Spiros was friendly, informative, and helpful - including regularly checking that my oft car sick wife was okay. The day was paced very nicely as well. A little more information on timings would have been good but then I should have read up more before leaving so...
All round, a thoroughly decent day out.
Booked the private car+private boat version of the tour. Our driver was a very fun person who explained the history and introduced Zakynthos in a very interested way. He also helped us took some nice photos at the ship wreck beach overview. We were able to adjust the pace of the tour as we wanted.
Only one thing though, if we had arrived the beach before the big boat carrying cruise taker, that would have made the trip perfect.
This tour is worth every cent...from pick up to drop off Nikos and Leo entertained us and kept the day alive,.if you do one tour in Zakynthos do this one, it takes you to so many places.
It was must go tour, we love it. Beautiful views, caves and beaches.
We enjoyed speed boat ride. Tour was included with snorkeling or just swimming.
Perfect trip, we were picked up feom hotel in Laganas. Our tour guide was great, we had lots of fun. Visited a few places in zakynthos town, then we went to beach and caves. After that very nice lunch in restaurant with view. It was really worth. I would recommend it everyone. And Navagio beach and view feom top is absolutely breathtaking.
Loved the trip! Long day, visited lots of objectives, the guides were super nice and helpful. Amazing views and beaches
Absolutely loved our trip. Best day we had all holiday. The views are breathtaking. Our 3 year old had a great time too. Lots of stops. Does last whole day, longer than stated (8am-7pm) but enjoyed every minute. Would highly recommend.
The trip was nice and the guide Spiros was more than great. The time we spent at each of the attractions was sufficient and we were able to enjoy each one. There is a lot to see and the landscape is amazing.
Here is what I did not like. The trip took about 12 hours in total and we were very tired at the end. The roads in Zakynthos are bumpy and spending a lot of time in the car can be unpleasent. Also, the stop we did at the restaurant after leaving the port was dissapointing. We ordered some pasta which was not so good and the restaurant is also a bit overpriced. Maybe we did not choose right with the pasta but that doesn't justify the 16€ for a portion and then a 1.5 € service tax per person. Not to mention it all totaled up to 39€ but we were asked to pay 42.5€. Oh 4.5€ for a Mythos also seemed a bit too much.
Overall, I would reccomend this trip as long as you are prepared for the long time it takes. Also, I would advise getting some sandwiches and a large bottle of water before leaving. There aren t too many places from which you can buy water and the only place to buy food is the restaurant at which we stopped at 5 30PM, considering we left at 8AM.
Fantastic day small group. Tour guide very knowledgeable and informative would recommend this trip to everyone
This was a lovely day visiting some spectacular places with great views, tour guides were excellent and the day was well organised. However the day was much longer then advertised (picked up at 8, back at 7), and some stops were a bit unnecessary (olive oil places, perfume shop, some of the stuff at the begnning), and so the day could be shorter. The lunch was overpriced and service was slow, although the view from the restaurant was amazing. On other tours I have been on in Greece, a selection of food is kept ready for the arriving group which speeds things up.
It is really worth to going on this trip since it includes everything. The tour is very enthusiastic and kind.
I recommend this. Everything is good and affordable for everyone. Timing also just nice for around 8 hours trop
I recommend every one who visits Zakynthos to take this tour. The staff are very kind. It is a glimpse of the whole island and an amazing boat trip to Navagio Shipwreck beach, blue caves and it includes as well a ride for an amazing top view of it, in addition to other nice stops.
It is well organised and perfect excursions that value for money and brilliant service.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great day out whilst in Zante
This is an unbelievable experience and totally worth it. Navagio it's definitely one of the best and amazing places I've ever been. The best views are from the cliff top. Spiros our guide was very helpful all the way there and back. I will definitely come back here soon x Thank you
Just returned from a great day exploring Zante,s sights
First class transportation coach and boat
Knowledgeable staff that could not do enough for you
Picked up at our hotel on time in feeder bus that met the main party at first stop total (16 people) seen the sights plus had a great adventure to the caves and ship wrecked beach with other stops to do some swimming
Last stop was Cameo island where we had a great photo shoot
During the tour we stopped off at a restaurant with great view and nice food
The local tour was so good that they had a hotel pick up service and they arranged the attractions by weather and the time was enough in each point. The tour guide was so funny and helpful. He helped to take great photos. This local tour is highly recommendable.
