We will see examples of utopian architecture - cubic houses, autonomous buildings providing energy and water to sustain themselves, futuristic church, constructor-house, the most magnificent market in the world, majestic Maas, hooligan-gnome, Kind Ladybug, the biggest art object in the country and so much more. We'll talk about contemporary architecture, fantastic innovative, social and eco-projects. But we are not forgetting about the city's past. And we will also show you how it feels to live in Rotterdam today.
We'll try to find local sights by their nicknames and discover the mystery of the town hall. We'll get to know why the great humanist still scares children. You can be sure that we'll also try the tastiest food Rotterdam has to offer - starting from fritters and ending with local sausages and herring. And of course, we will take some great pictures too!

Rotterdam street art is a vital part of what makes this city so great. Great talent of local artists is a great way to discuss local culture as well as make lovely pictures.

Roof farm. Rotterdam is a city of future and roof farm proves that these are not mere words. Learn about wonders of technical thought that makes an ordinary roof into a lovely garden with fruits, vegetables and even beehives.

City hall (Stadhuis) is one of the few places surviving the 1940 destruction. It is a marvellous piece of architecture, not typical for Rotterdam, that creates a sharp contrast with the rest of the city. Through discussing the architecture and its history we will get a deeper understanding of Rotterdam’s history.

Grote of Sint-Laurenskerk is the oldest remaining building in Rotterdam with its roots going back to the end of the 14th century. This church has seen it all, from Erasmus Rotterdam to Eurovision and is ready to share even more information once we get there!

Markthal is one of the most famous pearls in Rotterdam futuristic building collections. Both market and an a residential complex in one opens door to International cuisine and the biggest visual artwork in the world glancing at its visitors from the ceiling.

New York has Statue of Liberty. Paris has Eiffel Tower. Rotterdam has Cubic Houses. Weirdly shaped and bizarrely coloured it can not help itself but attract people. Why are those houses cubic? Are there people actually living inside? We will talk about all of it and more.

Old Harbour is in our humble opinion the most picturesque sight in Rotterdam. With colossal bridges looming in the background and old harbour with its cozy bars and barges at the front- it is hard to skip this place.

The tour was great and very informative. We visited multiple places across Rotterdam, the tour guide (Daniel) showed all key highlights of the city and shared stories about these places and the history of Rotterdam in general. There was plenty of opportunities for photos, a few breaks in between ...

We visited multiple places across Rotterdam, the tour guide (Daniel) showed all key highlights of the city and shared stories about these places and the history of Rotterdam in general. There was plenty of opportunities for photos, a few breaks in between etc. Also, the guide is highly knowledgable and could answer a few other questions I had about the city which were not immediately relevant to the places we visited. Overall amazing experience, my friend and I would go on other tours as well.
