Aiden our guide was so knowledgeable and gave a wonderful insight of the whole story. The place is amazing and seeing all the Albums and pictures and the equipment, you can see why major artists come here. Great day out.. :-)Had a great time being shown around the studios and getting immersed in the history of the place and all of the top-notch artists who have recorded there over the years. I went there because my husband and father-in-law wanted to, but I ended up loving it. I learnt so many things I didn't know about how recording studios work and it was surprisingly really interesting. It's one of my top 3 places I visited during my trip to Northern Ireland and Dublin (and I visited many, many, many places). So worth going. We were lucky enough to get the tour from one of the owners and he was amazing; his passion for music really filtered through his comments. And all those anecdotes about famous musicians! Brilliant! Then, I had to go back after our visit because I'd forgotten my phone in the toilet; I caught him on the street, on his way to lunch! He went back to the studios with me so I could retrieve it and chatted about other interesting stuff about the city of Dublin. He was just extra nice (and so patient), although I wasted some of his lunch time. Seriously, that you are interested in music or not, go! Amazing place, excellent tour! And definitely the best recording Studios we visited (we did two); no wonder so many famous artists from all over the world go there!Absolutely brilliant tour. So much more than you think. Exceptional staff and experience I would go again in a heartbeat.

My teenage son and I visited Windmill Lane as part of a day trip to Dublin to mark the end of the summer holidays. He has a huge interest in music, and this was a great opportunity to spend some time together doing something we both enjoy. It is a stunning art deco building and Maria our guide was just fabulous. Sitting, warm and engaging, we both really enjoyed it. The studio itself is very impressive and it was great to get an introduction into how it all works in practice and to have an opportunity to use the equipment! A wonderful way to spend some time if you are visiting the city. Thank you :)
