All time temperature inside 13-14 degrees. It can be a bit dirty, depends on how you will move.
Sporty/comfortable shoes preferred, not high heels please.
If you have something for light wear for head and something like jacket it is the best.
With transport, it will take maximum 4 hours. The underground tour duration is 2 hours.

We are delighted! As we walked through the endless labyrinth of the catacombs our guide Igor shared fascinating war stories as well as stories from his personal experience being part of the many rescue missions all over the country. Huge factor for me was the level of comfort I felt during this excursion. Igor made us feel safe and at ease at all times. At the very end of our journey we were asked to apply our fresh knowledge and try to exit the catacombs on our own using the signs on the walls. We did not succeed, it’s too complicated but we had so much fun trying!This was a great tour - a very different experience. Igor was very knowledgeable and took us through the geological and social/political history of the catacombs. The map reading challenge was amusing and gave us a sense of the complexity of the tunnels

One could feel his genuine enthusiasm for the place and he was happy to answer all our questions. Despite it being a huge abandoned underground-maze, we always felt safe. Vanya seems to know every stone, every turn and every wall-paining in the area of the tour. Definitely recommend it!
