This is a fantastic way to not only get from Whittier to Anchorage but to see sights too. Stephen was fantastic! We had 15 suitcases and a wheel chair. He helped with everything. We loved our day!

We did our cruise transfer with Great Land Adventures and had a great time. Our flights weren’t until late out of Anchorage so we had the day to burn. Stephen picked us up Saturday morning from our cruise and we spent the rest of the day site seeing and doing activities all at the recommendation of GLA. From visiting a wildlife refuge to taking a tram to the top of a mountain for lunch, to watching the Salmon span. The whole trip was first class all the way until they dropped us off. Very much recommend!Brad was just great! Full of information and enthusiasm. He brought a cool gadget he just purchased to attach your cell phone and take pics off his binoculars. Amazing! Brad was just great! Full of information and enthusiasm. He brought a cool gadget he just purchased to attach your cell phone and take pics off his binoculars. Amazing! First we traveled through the Whittier Tunnel which was a WWII engineering feat. What a beautiful ride through Portage Valley. We stopped at the animal sanctuary as well as many scenic stops to see glaciers, lakes and waterfalls. We loved the Alyeska tram and lunch at the top of the lift with gorgeous views. Closer to Anchorage we stopped and walked along the boardwalk of Potter Marsh where we saw swarms of salmon. After a brief tour of Anchorage and a visit to the airport lake full of sea planes, Brad was kind enough to take us to a hotel where I could change into comfortable travel clothes before our long night flight home to Texas. Thanks Brad!Let me just say we are glad we did the cruise transfer outside ship. Jacob was awwwwweeeesssssooommmmee ! Let me just say we are glad we did the cruise transfer outside ship. Jacob was awwwwweeeesssssooommmmee ! He picked us up at terminal and took us to spots not many people visiting get to see. It was great he also was from Florida and was very open to go off grid. We had a great time and Jacob was so knowledgeable about Alaska in general and a plethora of information about Anchorage. So if you decide to visit Anchorage definitely forgo the cruise ship excursion and use Greatland Adventures.I took a ride to Whittier and back for the Glacier cruise. Our driver was Abey. I took a ride to Whittier and back for the Glacier cruise. Our driver was Abey. She was fantastic, and full of energy. She stopped in many good places worthy of appreciating all those beautiful landscapes. She also gave us a Whittier tour since we reached there a bit earlier than the departure time of our cruise. Thank you Abey for the great experience.Great if you do not choose to travel with others from your cruise ship to the airport. Not much to do in Anchorage. Booking with Viator was a pain though....I would deal with Greatland Tours directly.
