Well organised rafting with a highly skilled team focused on safety. Cole was an experienced and enthusiastic guide who did a great job of motivating us s as nd keeping us safe.

Our guides were great and emphasized safety but also found ways to make it fun. The scenery along the river is beautiful. It is worth it to buy the photo package because you can't really take photos yourself. If you have a go pro with chest mount, bring it. It was a little scary, maybe even terrifying, but we lived to tell about it and have great stories and pictures to share. I had a sore knee so it made it hard to quickly get into waterfall position. If you have knee issues or trouble moving around, this tour is probably not for you. But it's still great fun to watch others go down the 21 foot waterfall !!!

I had a great time this morning on the river rapids, with kaituna Cascades. Not only were the rapids so fun and full of adrenaline, but the instructors were brilliant when it came to safety, reassurance...and humour. Keaton was my instructor and was very helpful but also encouraged me to do some cool stuff on and off the boats! I would totally recommend Cascades. A great bonus that bus from the centre is included! If I'm back in NZ I'll be back!

Incredible adrenaline-pumping rafting experience going down the beautiful Tutea Falls and unpredictable rapids! It was great that we got the chance to swim the rapids too. Thanks to Matt and the team for a wonderful adventure, including the photographer for capturing the highlights! :)

This was my third trip with these guys in the last two years. They run an awesome adventure on a beautiful river that no one should miss. I went first by myself two years ago, was apprehensive about doing it alone. But Pete and his fabulous crew reassured everyone of the fun and the adventure that was going to happen. It was everything and more. They make people feel comfortable and safe and their instruction is right on. I’m sure I will be back again.

What a place!!! Great raft guides, great base and great rapids and waterfalls. What more could you want?! I’ve rafted a few times but it was my girlfriend’s first time and she loved it! Highly recommend going rafting with these guys at Kaituna Cascades. Big shout out to our guide Eoin. Very professional but also great fun. This is a must-do activity in Rotorua! The tour guides are friendly, knowledgeable and give good clear instruction. Also very reassuring for the nervous members of our group. The thrill of going over the highest waterfall is unmatched

I had the best time white water rafting with the Kaituna Cascades group. There were a number of us who were relative beginners and they very patiently told us what to expect and what to do. Our guide Ollie was amazing and the experience was absolutely incredible. Cannot wait to do it again!

Awesome experience on a really fun Whitewater trip. Our guide Hamish was well experienced and very thorough in our safety briefing. The rapids were fun, but the waterfalls were outstanding. Hamish brought us through without any issues. We even got to swim through one of the rapids on our own.

My husband was so excited to go white water rafting, but I was terrified. Our guides did an excellent job making me feel as safe and comfort as possible. It was a once in a lifetime experience, and I am so glad that I did it!
