We took the Klondike White Pass Tour WITH Gold Panning in Skagway off our cruise ship Miracle on July 30th. Our tour guide , Billie, was friendly and informative and gave us great information that made our trip very enjoyable. We drank glacial water fresh from the waterfall and stopped many times to take pictures of breathtaking views. I highly recommend this tour and this company which we booked NOT through Carnival, but as an independent. The panning was fun, too.... This is a family owned and run business, and they do a great job!I have taken many excursions. The Klondike excursion to the summit is one of my top 3. This excursion is a must! I would definitely do it again 😉

Terrific scenic ride through the area, with wonderful historical notes from Zane, our tour guide! Because the train turns around, both sides have terrific views. We toured an area that supported the gold rush, and learned how this railway system was built. Beautiful vistas with soft green water snaking through the rocks and trees. Gentle motion made it pleasant, not scary. When we were done, we toured the town. It was a fabulous way to learn about the area.
