What to expect
Itinerary
Day 1
10 am - Registration and documentation (with option to start at 8:30 am and finish the course earlier the next day)
11 am - Dive Theory – Entails briefing, watching video, reading, knowledge reviews, quizzes, logged dives and dive debriefing. By the end of the course, you would have watched 3 videos, 3 knowledge reviews, 2 quizzes.
12 nn - Lunch Break
1 pm – Confined Water Dive Training - The instructor will bring you to the beach in the shallow and eventually to an area too deep to stand up in to practice skills. By the end of the course, you would have done 3 Confined Water Training Modules.
3 pm – Your first Open Water Dive - When you are ready, your instructor will take you on a boat dive to a suitable depth required by the course. By the end of the course, you would have done 2 Open Water Dives.
4:30 - Logging your Dive and Dive Theory
Day 2
8 am Confined Water Dive Training
9 am – Open Water Dive 2
11 am - Dive Theory
12 nn - Lunch Break
1 pm – Log dives, catch up on skills, dives and theory that were not fulfilled.

- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

I was a bit curious about diving and after doing my research Watercolors just seemed a cut above the rest. And BOY are they. First off, they really make sure you get the most out of the experience. You get lots of time in the water to really appreciate things and Jo was wonderfully thorough in getting me comfortable with all the techniques I needed. Secondly, any teacher is good with a good student. As it turns out, I’m a bit rubbish at learning to dive and this is where Jo (and everyone else at watercolors) really shine. They were patient with me and took the time to get me confident and gave me the room I needed to really learn. So if you’re at all nervous about learning to dive, you should go with Watercolors. Outside of the diving itself, the staff are super friendly and helpful. Things like providing drinks and refreshments and having air conditioning in the teaching room make all the difference and made my experience smooth and relaxed. Finally, the location itself is perfect. The reefs are beautiful and varied, and I got to see them in more detail than I thought possible. All because of Watercolors.tsuyopin

ステーション3にあるダイビングショップの目の前が綺麗なホワイトビーチなので最高のロケーションですね♪ ほぼ毎年のようにボラカイ島へ通っていて、この WaterColors さんでスキューバダイビングの体験ダイビングを行ってから、年ごとにPADI オープン・ウォーター・ダイバー、PADI アドヴァンスド・オープン・ウォーター・ダイバー、PADI レスキュー・ダイバーのライセンスをこのショップさんで認定していただいています。 今回はスキルアップとレクリエーションを兼ねて、PADI レック（沈船）・ダイバー・スペシャルティ・コースとエンリッチド・エア・ダイバー スペシャルティ・コースを受講しました。 尊敬するインストラクターの Jenny さんがうまくアレンジしてくれたので、両コースを一度に受けることができました。ありがとうございました。 スキューバダイビングの機材ですが、自分の機材も持ち込めますが、荷物が重くなるのが辛いのと、ここでは講習費用にレンタル機材が込みとなっているので、レンタルがおすすめです。 身軽にふらっと訪れてスキューバダイビングを楽しむことができます。私は断然レンタル派。（ダイビングコンピューターだけは自分のものを使いましょう。もし無くても付き添いのインストラクターさんがダイビングコンピューターを使って安全管理をかなりしっかりとしてくれます。） サンゴ礁には運が良いウミガメが泳いでいることがあります。 サンゴ礁以外にも水深30m付近に沈没船と飛行機が沈んでいるダイビングスポットがそれぞれあり、PADI アドヴァンスド・オープン・ウォーター・ダイバー以上をお持ちであれば海況に問題がない限り、リクエストすれば連れて行ってもらえます。 私のお気に入りのダイビングスポットですね。 スタッフの皆さんはとても明るくて優しい方々です。 ダイビングの合間にお店で休憩しているときは、コーヒーが飲み放題なのですが、 私は紅茶派なので、スタッフさんにお願いして、紅茶のポットで出してもらっていました。もちろん紅茶も飲み放題です♪ インストラクターさんはそれぞれ高いスキルを持っていますし、 なにより安全最優先ですべてを進めてくれるので安心できます。 他のお店ではよくある大人数でのグループダイビングは、ここではありません。 講習では基本的にインストラクターさん1人に対して、お客様がマンツーマンですね。同じ講習であれば2人までは可能みたいです。 最初のビーチ付近での練習以外は、基本的にボートダイブになりますが、 重たいタンクなどの機材はスタッフさんが運んでくれますので疲れません。 自分はマスクとシュノーケルとフィンとウェイトだけ持ってビーチで待つボートに乗るだけ！ 次回（おそらく来年）は、PADI ディープ・ダイバー・スペシャルティ・コースとドリフト・ダイバー・スペシャルティ・コース、ナイト・ダイバー・スペシャルティ・コースを受講したいなぁと思っています。 あと、気になるコミュニケーション（言語）ですが、基本的に片言の英語で全く問題ありません。Annreal0201

What an amazing experience!!! I will not trust my life underwater with anyone else unless it's Jimmy.. Jimmy.. oh and Jimmy! Also shout out to our boy Jacob! I came in with the least expectation knowing I'm terrified swimming on the ocean, but having the right people with great attention to details especially when it comes to safety made me feel comfortable and at ease. Ideally the full course is 4 days but time was tight and we had to crash it in 3 days. And it was definitely a challenge! The knowledge reviews is as much important as the practical diving skills you'll need for the course. I won't recommend less than 4 days if you want to enjoy a bit more chill time in Boracay. Also, I wear contact lenses and need to take them off during the dive but they have a prescription mask available for me to use, how cool was that?!? I was incredibly tired on our first day, it doesn't get easier on the 2nd but towards the end of the course it was a lot more fun and everything was worth it! Ladies.... NO diving with long nails. Men... ideally trim your beards or shave if off. Be ready for a few blisters from the fins too. Have an open mind, get curious and enjoy this milestone in starting your diving experience.
