The tour guide was knowledgeable and very nice. Raised watching The Quiet Man and was thrilled we’d be close enough with a tour we had booked. Great experience.

This is very near Ashford Castle. Good for a photo opp and a drink in the pub. The little village is quite picturesque as is the ruined Abbey

The tour was very interesting. I want to watch “The Quiet Man” again so I can notice all the details the tour guide was talking about!

We could not wait to do the tour, as my wife is a huge fan of the film, but teh tour did not live up to expectations. The tour guide Jerry was fun and had stories but in the hour of his company we only were shown 4 places of interest. A few back stories about the cast and that was it. I know the tour is not a lot of money but we excepted more.

The tour was so good. Our guide, Rory was the best part because he did movie quotes in the character’s voices that really brought the locations to life. We learned many interesting facts that I never knew. Highly recommend!

The tour guide was a hoot. Worked 30 years conducting this tour with many historic connections with the making of the movie. A had some good jokes he shared. Very enjoyable

If you are a fan of The Quiet Man, this will blow your mind. We got to see several filming locations. The tour guide was fun, friendly, and knew all the answers to our questions. This is the real deal, not a tourist trap.

My husband and I enjoyed seeing the replica cottage, especially the fireplace. The town is easy enough to walk around.

My wife and I always have enjoyed the movie The Quiet Man; to take this tour was a special treat. Our tour guide Jerry founded the QM museum and this tour - he is so knowledgeable and friendly. He’s a Cong local, too, and you can tell he’s the kind of guy who knows everyone in town and everyone knows and loves him. Great tour - great stories - it’s remarkable how every dog in Cong is a descendant of a dog in the movie!!!!

Jerry provided a really fun, humorous and informative tour. You don't have to be a "Quiet Man crazy" to enjoy this one. Although, we are eager to watch the movie again now and see all of the places that we visited. Bonus -- Cong is a wonderfully quaint, peaceful little town, well worth the visit. I wish we had allowed for more than an overnight stay.

This was an absolute amazing tour! Guide was excellent! It was so good we went back to the Airbnb and watched the movie again! Next day took some fun photos in the same spots! My husband made a better John Wayne than I made a Maureen O’Hara! Super fun! Absolutely “LOVED” it!

We booked this trip on the day at the ticket office which is also a souvenir shop, located above the replica cottage from the film. We met the guide in the car park just behind the building and set off on foot around the village. Our guide was most informative and entertaining with her knowledge, as well as little stories connected with the stars of the film. We stopped at many points of interest, with opportunities for photos . A most enjoyable hour spent, very pleased we did it.

Gerry Collins was excellent! Good jokes too! He did a great job and was very engaging. We would highly recommend.

So much has been preserved from the time of the movie and the guide was great with the behind the scenes stories. Watch the movie again afterwards and it will be even better than you remember.

My favorite movie of all time, I was so excited to visit Cong and take the tour. Saying it did not disappoint in an injustice! Gerry Collins was an amazing tour guide, and I almost felt like Michaleen was giving the tour! It was the highlight of our two-week vacation to Ireland. This is definitely a must- do when visiting this incredible, beautiful country! We also spent a night in Michaleen’s Bed and Breakfast. Amazing experience and such wonderful customer service. An experience not to be missed!

The lady who did the tour was amazing. She told stories of the filming and the the cast. Nothing was too much trouble brought the film to life. Any John Wayne fan should definitely do this.

Gerry was our Tour guide and no better man for the job! He is very knowledgeable about The Quiet Man and we loved hearing of his stories which included meeting John Wayne's family and also meeting the great Maureen O'Hara. The tour involved visiting many places that were used in the making of the film with a story or two about each of them along the way. To be a guide it takes someone to know about the subject, have a passion for it and to have a good senses of humour and Gerry has the lot. We visited the museum afterwards which is a treasure trove in itself. Thought I knew alot about the film but found out even more which was an added bonus! Highly recommend this tour. You won't be disappointed.
