This tour with the competent lady was by all means terrific. Felix.
The price is quite high, but totally worth it.
The tours were very competent and had a very good concept.
very well done
Everything was perfect, great guide, even the people who are not so fond of culture enjoyed the tour. Every question was answered competently and entertainingly.
Everything was great, anytime again.
I can only recommend rent-a-guide
Nice tour with a friendly and entertaining tour guide! The Uffizi Gallery may be worth an own tour!
A very good start for Florence, with a lot of background knowledge and a deepening at the most important pieces of art at the Uffizi Gallery. Highly recommendable.
Everything went perfectly, everything was explained well and it was very relaxed. Thank you, anytime again.
Informative tour, short waiting time at the Uffizi Gallery, highly recommendable
The group was rather big and one couldn't ask questions. But inspite of this, we got the maximum of information in this short amount of time.
The guide was very competent and commited, one could follow her explainations easily. She described the matter very vividly. Both tours were really great.
Very competent and kind guide!
Unfortunately, nothing clicked between the guide and our group; due to the heat and the amount of visitors, our guide was pretty stressed out... the explainations were far too detailled.
It answered our expectations. But I miss a family price.
Too much art, I would've expected more information about the city, especially the younger history.
Competent and kind tour. Anytime again.
A huge compliment to our guide Ms Therese from Linz who was very committed. Unfortunately, we had to wait at the Uffizi Gallery for 35 minutes. Anytime again, if we will ever be back in Florence.
Angelika was a really good guide.
Our guide was very kind and open-minded. Unfortunately, at the beginning we spent a lot of time on Piazza Republica in the sun. The tour itself was a bit too short. We would've liked a more detailled city tour. The tour in the Uffizi Gallery was too long and detailled, even though our guide wanted to present his whole knowledge. He surely meant well, but for us it was too long. We would've appreciated a break to be receptive again. We lost the receptivity over even more pieces of art.
Waiting time in front of the Uffizi Gallery was too long, guide in the museum very competent, during the city tour rather bad. Organisation until the tour started kind of lengthy.
The tour was very informative and entertaining. We also got some interesting information about the life in Florence and the Medici. A little disadvantage: Due to the tour description, we should've visited the oldest pharmacy of Europe (where the Original Eau de Cologne was invented) and to the church S. Maria Novelle, but both didn't happen. It was a pity, because it would've been interesting. Unfortunately, if you don't know Florence, you have no idea which would've been the perfect time to say something. As soon as the tour ended at the Arno, it was too late. But the young lady did a really good job. Also in the Uffizi Gallery, she managed to take us on a time travelling journey through art. Thank you for the very nice, but kind of exhausting afternoon!
The tour was great, especially the guide - Theresa (?) - was very competent, commited, kind!
Very good organisation, tour with headset so everyone could understand the guide. Very punctual.
Our family enjoyed the tour very much. It was enteratining and very informative and was very inspiring to deepen some of the topics. Really great, all this knowledge, presented freely! The guide was very polite and provided a good atmosphere. With this interesting explainations, we would've liked to stay longer in the Uffizi Gallery.
A very interesting tour, good organisation, kind and competent guide. Only disadvantage: The communication happened via earplugs and a microphone which was very sound-sensitive and with the wind blowing we couldn't always understand her. It would be better to use headsets. It was my second tour with rent-a-guide and I will surely book with them again for my next city trip!!
The guide was excellent, very competent and commited. Both tours were really great. She was able to convey the matter very vividly.
Unfortunately, the overall impression was great. That has a simple reason: The group was too big and we had to let a group of 70 loud Japanese tourists, also guided by rent-a-guide, first, even though our guide put in a veto and said that our group should go first since we were waiting longer. But the Japanese group came cumulatively and was guided to the entrance without any consideration.
It's just wonderful if you can book a tour beforehand and skip the line. A very interesting tour and a nice tour guide. Highly recommendable.
