We did the Gothic toor with pintxos tasting and it was absolutely wonderful, highly recommend it and especially kudos to our guide Hugo! We were two adults and two children (11 and 13) and this was after a very long day of walking. The children were rather tired and not that enthusiastic at the thought of walking for another 75 min before sitting and eating (the tapas/pintxos come at the end of the tour not all along as we initially thought). I assured them we could bail in the middle if they wanted to. But the tour was so interesting and fun, especially because of the knowledgable and funny guide we had (Hugo) that they did not want to leave. We learned so much about the Gothic Quarter and it changed the way we saw those little roads afterwords. So many little secrets and history. The guide was able to convey information (in English) in an understandable (to my 10 year old) and engaging manner- not too much detail and not too little- with all sort of little tips about places to visit for food (which were in fact great, we tried them all). The food at the end was terrific (very yummy). Cannot say enough good things. Works for families and is totally worth it.
