We choose a bit of a custom itinerary- tour of the Duomo museum, the Baptistry, and then climbing the Basilica. The next day the Academia to see the David. Our tour guide was Lucia, who is a PhD in Art History and her passion and knowledge of the subjects we toured were evident every step of the way. She really helped to transport us back in time to understand what drove Brunelleschi and Michelangelo to create such unfathomable works of greatness. We also stopped for coffees along the way and heard her stories of Florence and what makes it so magical. These attractions by themselves are awe-inspiring, but having the context and backstories really helped us appreciate them to the fullest.Nicole W

Cora with are brilliant historical background showed us and our 2 sons, 17 & 19 years old, the history from Florence from middle age up to 20th century, presented famous personalities of Florence, introduced us in the construction/decoration details of several buildings, showed us many little historical and other details of the city. Cora motivated our 2 boys in an excellent way, they were fascinated as we were. Best tour ever, I can highly recommend it!
