Oscar was really great. He had us try so many fruits and taught us a lot of history of medellin and colombia. Highly recommend!

During the tour, we learned about downtown Medellin & how it came to be what it is today; Colombian artists (e.g. Botero & Maluma) and their impact on Colombian culture; Colombian fruits & snacks, with taste tests of both; social stratuses of Colombia, which are ranked from one to six; and about different districts/neighborhoods of present-day Colombia. Oscar was highly informative of each topic of the tour and was able to answer all of my group’s questions of Medellin with detailed answers. Oscar also went out of his way to ensure we had the best experience possible by having alternate tour routes planned in case one was closed/inaccessible (which ended up happening)! I highly recommend.

Oscar was a great city guide. He took us through the best spots in the city. We took the tram and then the lift to the top of the hill. We tried local fruits -which were super tasty- at the Placita de Florez, then went to the museum, where he informed us about the history of the city and walked through nice neighborhoods and landmarks. Oscar was the best and I couldn’t be happier that we met him and went through the city with him. I would definitely suggest him as a tour guide. Totally worth it! 🙏🫶🏽

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Medellin! I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. The guide Oscar a brilliant teacher and also very thoughtful and kind. Leaving the metro station an elderly lady was stuck on the escalators and Oscar immediately helped guide her down the stairs. During the tour we learnt many things about Colombian culture and history. The visit to the Museo de las Memorias was particularly poignant and the fruits in the market were incredibly delicious! We are definitely booking a tour with Oscar the next time we visit Medellin - hopefully very soon!

Oscar was excellent! I would highly recommend this tour. We learned about the history of the city and colombia, walked all throughout the city, and tried so much delicious food. Oscar was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and a great ambassador to his country!

I had a very enjoyable time with my tour guide, Oscar. He is very knowledgeable of Medellin and points out many items that could easily be overlooked by the casual observer. One of the highlights was the visit through the farmers market and the sampling of so many types of fruit, all delicious. Oscar also took time to explain the examples of economic disparity that is seen throughout the city.

The tour was extremely good and, very flexible (appreciate this!). A special thank you to Oscar. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed with a friendly atmosphere though we were running late, we had a fantastic start! Oscar's personality was warm, bubbly and welcoming. I must add that he's an awesome photographer lol. He never hesitated to take pictures with us. Oscar is also a brilliant and patience tour guide. As he took his time to teach and provide substantive information on the culture of Medellin Colombia with us. We truly enjoyed this tour. My favorite part was the fruit tasting. My partner's favorite part was in La Candelaria where he saw the statues of Fernando Botero. Though it's home to the world's second largest population of Spanish-speaking people, Oscar's English was on point! All respect to Oscar for an outstanding job! We recommend Oscar tours for everyone!

Oscar is a tour guide + friend packed into one person. I had multiple tours books on my trip, but only one was with Oscar. But after hanging out with him I wish I had booked all my tours with him. Highly recommend!

It's was so much fun. I went alone and I had a great time. Definitely recommend a pen and paper to remember the fruits. Glad I got to see Medellin Colombia parcero and go on the cable rides . Was a fair fun walk. Definitely recommend bringing out comfortable shoes.

I took this tour on the second full day of my trip to get a feel of the city, being a solo traveler; I got much more then expected. Not only did I get a tour of downtown, I got to experience Medellin through a local. Oscar is a very good guild. He is knowledgeable, fun, and very hospitable. I not only tried different fruit, I tried authentic traditional foods. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and could enjoy moving around the city and experience it in ways I won’t have had I been alone. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour, especially if your a solo traveler. Oscar is the best.

Oscar was great, and knew all of the important answers to questions about Medellin! We tasted some very rare fruits, and learned about the city in a really nice museum that I would not have been able to find on my own. Thank you!

Admittedly, prior to this tour the only 2 things I connected with Colombia was PabIo Escobar and cocaine. I really enjoyed the Innovation Tour. I did this with a buddy and we had the bonus of 2 tour guides, one of which was in training. Our tour started with an introduction to the artist Botero and his artistic contributions to Medellin. We were also treated to Colombian coffee in a historic café that also gave Tango lessons. While traveling by tram, cable car, and on foot our guides provided us an informative, sobering, and enlightening history of Colombia. I also came away with a better understanding of the violence Medellin suffered through, the impact it had and continues to have on its citizens, and how Medellin has an ongoing transformation into a better city. The guides also did a great job of showing the beauty of the architecture of Medellin’s past, present, and future. They were personable, professional, and I had I great interaction with them. Definitely a tour I would recommend.

Oscar the tour guide who spoke perfect English took me thru the history of Colombia and we walked from one Fernando Botero art piece down town. We than had colombian beer at the historic famous tango bar before we hop on the tram and then to take the cable car ride to see the whole city from above. I learned the transport ation system first hand. Great tour. Highly recommend
