Great tour. Paul was a great guide, very enthusiastic about his city. Lots of places revealed that we would have not known about, hints & tips, highly recommend. Book it!

So interesting and fun with loads of tips on other things to do. Paul is fantastic. It is the one thing I would say people must do as early as possible in their stay.

Paul is a friendly welcoming and knowledgeable guide. He gave us a great introduction to the old town and a great sense of where to go to find the best pastries, coffee etc as well as a great knowledge of Lyon and its history and secret passageways. Worthwhile morning, thanks Paul.

Paul was incredibly knowledgeable, gave us great information not just on the history but good places to eat and what we should visit in Lyon. It was a large group, but he made sure everyone could hear. Highly recommend!!!

Great tour! Would highly recommend. Learnt so much about the history of Lyon -the architecture, cuisine, industry, wars and much more.

We actually did both tours because we enjoyed the first one so much. Paul is so knowledgeable and gives you the right amount of detail so you feel like you’ve learned a lot without being overloaded. Paul is good with storytelling so you remember a lot of what he says. We took some of his recommendations of things to do and places to eat and he was spot on. He has a dry Dutch wit and his commentary on things was also really funny. Highly recommend going on Paul’s tours.

My wife and I did the tour of Vieux Lyon in the rain with Paul (It always rains when we do these tours, so avoid signing up when we do). We were well prepared with raincoats and umbrellas, so it wasn't a problem. The tour was fantastic. Paul is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. Don't miss it, and tip well. He deserves it. Wonderful tour without endorsing sponsored venues. The tour was full of interesting facts and was detailed and enthusiastic. It was an easy walk going by hidden passage ways that I would never even notice by myself. A great introduction to the city.

One of the best walking tours I’ve ever been on (including paid tours). Paul was amazing. Fun & informative. I learned so much about lyon’s history, culture (including gastronomic culture), architecture and more. Perfect introduction to Lyon. Highly recommended!

Even with quiete big group one could understand good Paul’s info’s, nice mix of historic aspects& current life , good visual presentation, and a nice portion of humor!

Paul was great. He did a lot of homework. It was really information and we learnt so much about Lyon. You would never be able to know them unless you join the tour. Very appreciate.

Unacceptable - thoroughly disappointed- would not recommend. I had booked this tour many weeks ago. I even received an email yesterday reminding me the date/time etc and the guide never showed up at the meeting spot!! There were other people waiting too!! There were no other emails as to what happened- we tried to contact the company by phone and email : no response. We recommend that you book with another company or take a tour offered at the Tourism Office.

Our guide was friendly, knowledgable and his tour was really interesting. The pace was gentle with lots of tips for seeing the best of Lyon in the time we had. We learnt a lot about the history of Lyon and I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits. Our guide even had time at the end for questions, places to eat, best things to see in the time everyone had plus a few must dos. He was brilliant - thank you.

Paul was an excellent guide, he was loud enough to hear in our group of app 25 adults. Paul was open to answering questions on what we were seeing as well as any other questions you may have. Paul got to know his tourists and wanted to know where they are from and what are they doing in Lyon. Defiantly choose Paul for your first off tour. Lovely way to spend the morning, nice size group, Paul was very informative and shown us lots of the hidden passageways and loads of different sites. Well worth doing the tour.
