A lot in a day, guides were brilliant. Recommended restaurant for the dinner, food was nasty and I would be embarrassed if I were venetian.

Amazing trip start to finish! We chose to do all the added extras Venezia Lines had to offer, (including lunch) In my opinion we wouldn't have seen half as much of venice if we hadn't of chosen to do this. Water Taxi to St Marcs, Free guided tour of St Marcs Square, Lunch, Gondola ride, and water taxi back to the san basillio port through the grand canal. All at the fraction of the price if we had done it all separatley. Boat trip is around 3 hours to venice (and 3 hours on return) but the cafe/bar is well stocked and the team are very good at giving you a run through of what to expcect during your trip. Tiring day and very hot, but all in all would definatley reccomend! We travelled from Porec with Venezia Lines for a day trip to Venice. What a great day! We travelled from Porec with Venezia Lines for a day trip to Venice. What a great day! Venice is beautiful and well worth a trip if you have chance. The boat trip was comfortable but obviously quite long and you don't get numbered seats so it was a bit of a scrum to get a seat and we couldn't sit together for the outward journey. That said, the service and facilities were all good and the crew and guides were lovely. Clearly you have to expect some queues at customs in Porec and Venice but it didn't take too long to get through and we had plenty of time in Venice to see everything. We took the boat taxi in and out of the city and did a short walking tour of St. Marks square which was excellent. Useful to know what you are looking at but also where to eat, shop and avoid the queues! We managed to find food and drinks / ice creams etc. without spending a fortune and thoroughly enjoyed the day. We’ve done this trip to Venice 3 times in the past. We’ve done this trip to Venice 3 times in the past. Heading out to Venice was fine but the air con left a lot to be desired and a couple stood all the 2 hour journey because there was nowhere for them to sit?! We took advantage of the all inclusive boat taxi, gondola ride, meal and boat taxi return to the ferry port and we had a fantastic guide!! He has to be the best we e ever had. His knowledge was amazing. Didn’t get his name but he had a pony tail! It was quite expensive but it enables to do and see a lot in the few hours we were there. The return journey was very choppy with some people/ children needing sick bags. At one point the crew were checking the lights on the life jackets which was a bit unnerving!!! Would have thought they were checked on a regular basis regardless of the weather conditions. But don’t be put off as this is a fantastic trip and well worth doing.Booked the Venice Trip through TUI and had the pleasure to travel with Venezia Lines. Booked the Venice Trip through TUI and had the pleasure to travel with Venezia Lines. The guides on board the trip were really efficient and professional. They were really well read on Venice and offered their services whilst in Venice at an extra cost depending on what you wanted to do it was our choice what we wanted to pay extra for or you had the choice to spend your time in Venice on your own without the guides. We chose the water taxi, gondola ride and water taxi back to the port. Again the guides were really well organised. On board the ferry there was a cafe/bar area where you could buy a variety of snacks and drinks the lady that ran the stall was brilliant with all the different currencies and converting them so you could pay by kuna, euros or your card. If you didn’t have enough money to pay for the different trips offered you were able to pay when you were back on board the ferry on the way home. We had a bit of a delay on the way back but at least the staff updated the passengers on the problem and didn’t leave us in the dark. Really good day, thanks once again. We visited Venice from Porec. We visited Venice from Porec. The High speed ferry was very comfortable, had a small cafe selling coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches and pastries. The staff on board were very friendly and very knowledgeable about Venice, giving a presentation providing all the information we needed for the day. Venice itself was stunning. We had lunch which we had booked onboard, pasta, rice and lasagne, wine and soft drinks. It wasn’t the best meal I’ve ever had but was tasty and saved lots of time. We fitted in a gondola ride and also a boat along the grand canal back to the ferry. Obviously one day is not enough time to spend in such a beautiful city but it gives a taste and we know we will definitely return. The trip was very well organised and I would highly recommended it.
