Taste local wines and tapas in Valencia! Our expert in wines will guide you through the city approaching wine history to the city of Valencia. Afterwards, you will enjoy Valencian wines & tapas in the heart of the Old Town in a local tavern where the tour ends. 4 different wines from the region of Valencia (may include wines from D.O. Valencia, D.O. Utiel-Requena, or D.O. Alicante) with a selection of the best 5 tapas will be enjoyed during the evening. Do not forget, this tour will take you to taste authentic and unique Valencian flavors that have given the city its reputation.

Eine sehr schöne Erfahrung. Leider kommt Valencia etwas kurz weg, aber Wein 🍷 und Tapas können einen sehr guten Ausgleich schaffen. Für Weinfreunde mal ganz was besonderes.

Absolute must if you are visiting Valencia. We called one day ahead of time, and Ambia Tours / Private Tours Valencia went above and beyond organizing a private tour to the Requena Utiel wine country during a national holiday, accommodating our request for sparking wine tastings. Valeria, our guide, was waiting us on time and at the accorded meeting point, close to the Estació del Nord rail station in Valencia. The van was very comfortable, and we were given bottles of water for our short drive to Requena Utiel. Our guide enlightened us with all sorts of information tidbits during our drive, making the places we drove by come to life. We started with a cava (Spanish spakling wine) tasting at around 11am, at the Pago de Tharsys winery. The lovely local host walked us through a selection of great sparkling wines and gave us a tour of the grounds. Very unique and unexpected flavor profiles, and a real treat. We went on to the Estenas estate, and were welcomed by the winery owner, who lead the wine tasting and explained the history and operation of the property. We ended at a unique and very authentic local eatery for lunch, also paired with excellent wine. Valeria is a great guide and a pleasure to be around. She is very knowledgeable, entertaining, and an excellent conversationalist. I highly recommend this experience, it's great value and an amazing day to spend the day.Jen H

I was on a several days long tour in Valencia just before Las Fallas kicked off this year. Ambia Tours bent over backwards for us and did everything right. From kick butt hotel bookings to fun and original day events, to fantastic wine and gastronomic choices for every meal, I was very happy. The service was spot on, everything went as well as it could have, and I was even more impressed because Las Fallas kickoff started the weekend we were there. Despite the traffic nightmare and the constant firecrackers and mascletas being held, everything went smoothly. We ended up in Requena visiting several bodegas - ecofriendly ones, which is always points in my book. We toured the archaeological complex of Almoina, we did a walking tour of the Old Town including the stunning Cathedral, and then a bike tour that went all of the way down the river to the port. We also went out to the watershed of El Palmar for a true blood Valencian Paella and a boatride through the birding habitat. Not a single activity was uninteresting or poorly planned, the staff was really on top of what they were doing, friendly, and very accommodating. As a tour operator myself I was very happy with my experience and would recommend them to anyone who wants to visit the city. It's a good place to go year round (though March is pretty crazy once the festival starts up!). This operator can pretty much handle whatever you want to do in the city from cultural events to sporty options, but they really excel in food and wine events.552michih

Brilliant evening. Dani was the perfect host. The wine and tapas meal following the walking tour around the old city was amazing. Would highly recommend this tour, you won’t be disappointed. Ideal as well for singles.
