Our Tour was led by BABOON - the PERFECT guide through this difficult and heart wrenching chapter in the history of humankind. The tour was: - INFORMATIVE. Baboon was an engaging and intelligent guide on the bus and during the visits of both the Killing Fields + S21. Full of knowledge, he was able to provide the necessary context and history around this dark period as well as deeper insights - perfect for both those without much background knowledge as well as those who are more across it. - BALANCED. Baboon sought to provide all this information in a balanced manner to allow the listeners to form their own opinions. At the right times (ie on the bus in between the heavy experiences), he provided insights and injected levity to the group as he shared information about Cambodian culture, daily life, attitudes, food + other things. - CONVENIENT. Very easy to organise through TripAdvisor (I booked it the night before in a handful of minutes). Hotel pick-up in the morning was available.

Sad but very meaningful. We should never forget, and we should teach younger generations about the past no matter how painful and traumatic it is. As our excellent, knowledgeable and friendly tour guide Mr Baboon told us, it is all about Education. Many thanks to our very good driver as well, Mr Rea (sorry if I'm misspelling your name). I found you get the right amount of time, not rushed at all. It was the best tour I had found after researching on various sites, in terms of price and length of time on each site. I booked via booking.com. He replied promptly via WhatsApp. He called to let me know he was on his way for pick up. Cold bottled water to drink when needed. I can't recommend anyone else. I learnt so much from him. I have recommended him to my friends as well.

Our guide was clearly a well educated man of integrity and love for Cambodia. The level of knowledge and personal courage displayed , given his fore bearers suffering was admirable. Extreme respect for those before his time and gratefulness for our tourist support was only part of a most informative ( though brutally sad) talk and awareness of such toxic mass murdering of innocent millions. Will always leave an indelible imprint on my mind. I wish such human evil to be remembered but never repeated in a world of endless aggression toward human innocents. The tour is a must do when you are in the Phnom Penh. It is a very confronting and emotionally draining tour but it’s important to hear and learn about the brutal past of Cambodia in their eyes. Our tour guide Baboon had us in tears when relaying his own family experiences especially. His is very articulate, knowledgeable and very friendly and answered all our questions honestly. We met 4 of the 12 survivors which made the whole experience real. At the Genidide museum’s stupta where there were thousands of skills on display we paid our respect by purchasing and laying lit incense and a lotus flower. Mr Tee our van driver was always by my side to help me step into and out of the vehicle when I informed him of my recent hip weakness /replacement. We were regularly offered ice cold bottles of water.

Must do when in Phnom Penh. Informative and sombre (as expected). Cheath SUM, our tour guide was personable, passionate and knowledgeable. Thank you for this unforgettable experience. Highly recommend.

This tour is very, very sad but is a must whilst touring Phnom Penh so that the senseless killings that took place by the the Khmer Rouge is never repeated. Our tour guide Mr. Baboon was so informative and knowledgeable. He shared with us about the true horrors of this terrible war. His mum was 12 years old when she had to forcibly leave her family (who perished) to work the fields by the border whilst surviving on grasshoppers, cockroaches and rats. I had already done the S21 Genocide Museum by audio previously and spent over 5 hours at the S21 museum but am so glad that I was able to do this tour again as Mr. Baboon added the the human element as to what really happened that the audio guide does not cover. We also got to meet 3 remaining survivors at the museum which was a bonus. I highly recommend this tour and ask for Mr. Baboon.

This tour is a must when in Phnom Penh. Not only was our guide Alex really friendly and professional, we got real insights into the genocide through a person who had first hand experience. Alex made the tour interesting and very informative. We definitely recommend doing this.

I learned a lot about what happened during the 4 years in cambodia. It's good to see where cambodia is right now after going through all that. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and there were more information and pictures at the prison and the museum by the stupa.

Well done. Although difficult subject matter, our guide was able to share personal family history that brought the story into the present.
