This is my second trip to Tahoe in the past three years and my second time going with Tahoe Whitewater Tours. The first time around, we were three girls and our guide made our trip so informative and fun. We felt very safe and pretty much had an uneventful trip. However, this time there were 6 of us, 3 big guys and 3 girls, plus our guide. We had one member of our party fall overboard and all got stuck on a rock on the last rapid. However, we were well prepared with the instructions offered to us and the expertise of our guide. Our man overboard we safe as the rest of the guys safety pulled him into the raft as instructed. When were stuck on the last rapid, we never felt scared and all remained calm as Whit and the rest of the crew came to our assistance and brought us to shore. We completed the rapids on the river without a hitch. We never laughed as hard as we did on this excursion. It was peaceful, beautiful and exhilarating, all at once. Definitely check it out. And remember, the lighter the raft, the more control your guide has in controlling what happens. The heavier, like us, the more difficult. Also, if you have a large party, or even if you don't, it's totally worth purchasing the pictures ahead of time. It comes on a memory stick so its easy to share. For less than $50, you will have memories of a lifetime to remember. My wife and I were in town for the memorial service of a dear friend who passed away unexpectedly and suddenly, and were looking for something to lift our spirits. My wife and I were in town for the memorial service of a dear friend who passed away unexpectedly and suddenly, and were looking for something to lift our spirits. We decided to take a rafting trip and had a blast. We didn't want to do it all day, so took a half day trip from Boca to Floriston, and that was just right. Our guide, Witt, was a ton of fun, as well as knowledgeable and safety conscious, even though as I understood it, it was only his first year with the company. The rapids were back-end loaded toward the end of the run, and that made the finish very enjoyable. Highly recommended to lift your spirits when things are blue.We had a fantastic time! Felt safe, well instructed, and had lots of fun with our two teenage daughters. Our guide, Adam, was experienced, kind and full of cool info about the surrounding area. We would definitely do it again and recommend it as a great family experience.

Hard work but worth all the adrenalin.

Wonderful experience... we had a wonderful afternoon with this group. It was a large group, but the whole experience was safe and fun and we were quite spread out. The guides were experienced and great company (we had Ivan as our guide). We felt safe the whole way. There were places to jump off the raft and swim and just the right amount of exciting rapids.
