I am still so deeply moved by the experience with Moddy that it will be difficult to put all the greatness of this adventure into one review. Moddy is a truly insightful, patient and open person and took so much time to bring Thai buddhism and Thai culture close to me. She explained every aspect of daily life and made sure that I understood and followed along. Moddy taught and practiced prayer the proper way - which I had hoped for, but I never expected her to sit, explain and pray together with me. The experience itself was calming and educating as we visited temples, meditation halls and statues and I never felt crowded by tourists or rushed through. I am calling this event life changing because Moddy has been able to reaffirm my way as a buddhist and I will be forever grateful to her for that. In addition, she was so open and honest sharing her own life experiences and tying them into the teaching, that it made the teachings very practical and understandable. She is simply amazing.
