If you want to have a stress free and fun experience in mendoza you must hire Francisco. Thanks to him we were always on time to every Vinyard or turist location we wanted to go. He is extremely knowledgeable of the area and if you want to ask about some history of the place he will have a answer and if not he will find out and let you know. I 100% recommend hiring Francisco for your trip in mendoza.

Francisco was right on time and right where he said he would be. Since we were a party of six he had an additional car/driver for us. He led us how to his vehicle and it was more than sufficient for our purposes. During the ride to the hotel we had a very nice discussion and he was very gracious to offer to assist us with any further questions or requests. All in all a great experience.

Francisco is a wonderfully nice person and a great driver. He was attentive to our needs, and went above and beyond for us. We needed an extra duffle bag to travel - he bought one for us; we ran in to a dust storm that closed the highway - he found a shop with WiFi and was constantly keeping tabs on the highway reopening. Without Francisco, we would have been in a really tough spot. If you’re in Mendoza and you need a ride, book Francisco. You’ll get more than just a driver - he is more of a local personal assistant, and we are glad to now call him a friend.

Francisco was awesome. He picked us up at the airport in Mendoza and had a couple bottles of water waiting for us, because it was hot! We booked rt, he was on time, polite and very considerate. He also speaks English, which was a plus. Highly recommend!!!

He even invited us for barbecue. I would highly recommend him as a driver to introduce someone to the city of Mendoza for the first time, to bring someone to a day trip in the mountains or another excursion outside the city limits. Francisco is an absolute pleasure. From the moment we met him, he was professional, respectful and accommodating. We discovered him via Viator for one-day trips, and upon messaging him learned that he does private transportation on the side for multiple days, which is the service we used to go vineyard hopping safely around Valle de Uco and Lujan de Cuyo. As a native Mendocino, he knows a lot about the area and gave us great recommendations and shared knowledge about the region during our time together. All I can say is Francisco is AMAZING! If we didn't have him helping us over our 6 days we would have missed half of our planned events. He consistently went above and beyond. If we could give him 10 stars we would. In our experience, hitting all 3 wine regions around Mendoza and other sightseeing over 6 days, don't try it alone if you expect to see a lot. My partner and I booked Francisco through Viator for a one hour booking (that was all that was possible on the platform), and soon after he contacted me directly via WhatsApp to discuss my needs during my time in Mendoza. Communication was easy and timely via WhatsApp and then when we met, he made us feel at ease. He’s a great driver and navigator and gave us awesome tips. Francisco was our driver for 3 days in Mendoza, more than we had initially planned. Getting around the wineries via taxis and Uber isn’t easy - a driver is definitely advisable! Francisco helped us get through security at each place as our Spanish isn’t very good. I highly recommend Francisco via Viator.

Francisco was a wonderful guide and driver. He picked us up from the airport and took us to visit some wonderful wineries over two days. He was a careful driver and explained everything to us. His rate was very reasonable and he didn’t even charge us for any waiting time. We really enjoy our trip with Francisco.

We decided to visit Mendoza at the last minute and thought we could visit several wineries when we landed. When we met up with Francisco, we sadly found out that people usually had to pre book visit days or even weeks in advance. We thought we were screwed. Anyway Francisco was somehow able to squeeze us into a few wineries and even managed to book us for lunch at Casa Vigil. Some people had to book Casa Vigil 3 months in advance so I don’t know how Francisco managed to pull that off. So prebook any wineries that you want to visit before arriving into Mendoza! Francisco really went above and beyond for us. He is also very friendly and knowledgeable of Mendoza but above all a very careful and safe driver.

Very friendly, great English, personable, witty with some jokes and knowledgeable about the area. He stays with you all day - he does not have side jobs and hangs out with the other driver(s) in the parking lot while you taste wine (or takes a nap if needed) so he’s always available. Note I’m not sure others would take Ubers on the side we just noticed he did not. For us we booked our own Bodega tours and it did not seem like he offers booking services - but may (?). Communication is via WhatsApp and as a courtesy we would message him a few minutes before leaving a tasting. The Viator booking is for 1 hour of drive time (assume: shared w/ driver) and additional time can be added on (tipped). We were worried about this but it became clear later this is easy to pay if you have a smartphone and wifi (he figures out afterwards in relaxed setting) - no cash needed or pressure to pay immediately. A full day of wine tours in Uco Valley from Mendoza City should be ~ a Benjamin. This is far less scary than it would seem.
