This tour is transportation only and does not include a guide along the way. The Intiñan Museum has a guide and that is what the charge is for there, the charge at Teleferico, the cable car, is to go up to the top of the mountain. After Teleferico the cost to go back to new town and old town should not be more then 5 dollars.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 11 travelers
Our guide was humorous and fun as he led us around the serpentine pathways to various parts of the exhibit. The best part was the ending where we tried different tests of equator magnetism, and it was really fun. Our guide spoke good English and seemed to really enjoy what he was doing.
The tour did not actually stop at the Teleferico due to inclement weather, despite us asking to visit regardless. However, the transport to the Middle of the World and Intinan Museum would have been much more expensive with a taxi or Uber, so this still remains a good value tour.
You're basically just paying for transportation, but its reasonably priced. The tour picks up from a hostel in Old Town. I recommend buying the trip directly from the hostel, as it it only $10 instead of $15.
The museum was interesting. They give you a brief introduction to Ecuadorian natives and chocolate, along with activities about the equator.
Monument you can basically see from the outside gate so its not really worth the $5 entrance fee.
This tour was just a taxi ride. I don"t think it was worth it, and shouldn"t be classified as a "tour" as there was no one escorting the group or instructions on what to do. And the taxi driver got lost multiple times on route.
Very nice trip. Learned a lot about the equator. Is not expensive and a lot of fun. The teleferico is amazing. Recommended it to everyone!!!

The driver was great. The tour of the museum was super interesting especially with the cool experiments.
Cheap alternative to other offers. Still, it's a tourist trap, one of three centers of the world I saw.
