The first thing you should do in Lake Pojoj is take a perfect raft ride, which is made of logs tied with natural fiber ties.

Got picked up within the timeframe and hit the road toward the falls! Got picked up within the timeframe and hit the road toward the falls! The guide didn’t speak any English (when I booked I had selected the English option though) It’s almost 3 hr drive to the falls, no bathroom breaks, can’t eat on the bus and the seats aren’t the most comfortable. Once we arrived at the falls we had 2 hrs to explore which was a bit rushed if you wanted to see all the falls and also relax and try to grab some food and eat before getting back on the bus. The second stop was at a lake and we were first told it was a 20 minute stop, then 30 minutes then a hr…..You have the option to go on a boat tour but you are expected to paddle the boat so it’s not a relaxing experience but it is beautiful. At this stop you can get lunch but if you don’t speak Spanish it’s impossible to understand what anyone is saying because everyone was speaking very fast. The last stop is another lake that borders Guatemala and it’s very beautiful but we weren’t given a time frame for when to be back at the bus so after wandering around for a bit the driver found all of us and we left for the almost 4 hr drive with no bathroom breaks, got back to hostel at 1030pm. It’s a very long day, the locations are beautiful but be prepared and bring your own lunch!

This was a very long day. But we’ll worth it. The waterfall was spectacular.
