Our guide was very knowledgeable and made this tour a memorable experience. The Guachimontones pyramids are fascinating and I’m glad I had an opportunity to see them with a guide who knew the history of the site. He took the time to take us through the museum before heading to the archeological site which allowed us to understand fully what we were viewing. The Guachimontones tour was the highlight of my stay in Guadalajara. The tequila tour was interesting too but the combination made it a very long day. I’d recommend seeing each separately.I was happily surprised it was a private tour I had booked! Luis is an excellent guide, very flexible and given attention to your needs. It was very punctual and he tells you a lot of interesting stories. I feel very lucky that I discovered Tequila and Guachimontones with him. Guachimontones is amazing and powerful, it's so beautiful and unique. Tequila is fun, a lot more touristic obviously but you learn a lot in one day! Definitely I recommend this tour and this operator! Our guide/driver was very pleasant and accommodating with whatever we wanted to do and for how long. Our guide/driver was very pleasant and accommodating with whatever we wanted to do and for how long. Carlos was an excellent driver in awful traffic. He never rushed us and helped us pick somewhere to eat along the route as we were running behind. His knowledge of the site, the tequila factory and the city were good and at the right depth. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour...one choice though is for us non-drinkers we could skip the tequila factory to spend more time in the Magico city of Tequila. There was so much going on there the day we visited but we were out of time. The tour guide was great. He was fluent in English and Spanish. It was great that we were able to be picked up at our hotel. One of the best parts is that we felt completely safe and welcome with him.

The pickup was easy and on time, and the tour was limited to just two of us which was really nice. The tour guide was super nice, but I wouldn't say the experience was amazing. The Guachimontones was a great experience but we were hand held the entire time. This trip provides 0 free time to explore on your own (in tequila as well). Also there is a lot more walking than you'd expect for little reward. Guachimontones makes sense (though it should be warned for older guests), but in tequila, a gorgeous magic town, we walked a long construction route through the ugliest parts of town to a small distillery that clearly didn't want us there. It was a shame because I took a trip the previous day to a random distillery as a part of a completely different experience and it was loads better. There was an actual tasting with explanations. We basically had a few quick tastings and then told to leave because another group arrived. In the town itself I had to practically beg to get a photo at the tequila sign. The last sad part was when we left we passed by so many beautiful agave fields where you could stop for pictures and he drove right past them all. For $100 I was happy to have both guachimontones and tequila in one day, but the experience was half-hearted and oddly mashed up. Like museum heavy, but then extremely long walks to not much. This was such a great tour and Luis is a wonderful guide; who is very knowledgeable about Tequila, the amazing Guachimontoes pyramids as well as about Guadalajara as a whole. This was such a great tour and Luis is a wonderful guide; who is very knowledgeable about Tequila, the amazing Guachimontoes pyramids as well as about Guadalajara as a whole. Luis was very accommodating to the fact I was travelling with my daughters ( 17yrs old and 10 yrs old) and tailored the tour in a way that all 3 of us were engaged the whole time. We especially appreciated the fact that he picked us up/ dropped us off at our hotel. Also, our visit to the town of Tequila and the distiller that he took us to, the stories and history of the Gauchimontones were just fascinating,
