What to expect
Even if you do not have previous experience, our professional guides will explain step by step how to complete the equipment before the tour.
We have the security of our recognized brand teams in this type of activities and all trained personnel.
We finish with a gentle walk along the banks of the Arenal River with its calm and crystal clear waters. Then we will go into the forest to walk to our restaurant La Roca where some delicious natural drinks will wait for us, and of course an exquisite typical lunch.

We had the most wonderful adventure today with La Roca! We did an 8am tour, which was nice since it was just us, but maybe chillier than expected. Our tour guides, Caesar and Eric, were fantastic! We have kids, ages 6 and 8, and they engaged them and made sure they got down safely (even when our youngest was too small to actually rappel). We are grateful to them for a fun experience, one we won’t forget. And lunch afterwards amazing!! Bring a set of dry clothes, there are clean showers to use after! Have fun! My wife and I signed up for a group tour through our hotel, and were lucky enough to be the only participants on the canyoning adventure with Cesar (who led) and Eric (assisted). We repelled down into the canyons, zip lined over trees and swam in the water. The guys were extremely knowledgable, professional, experienced in safety protocols, and most importantly, fun! I would absolutely recommend Cesar and Eric, and this particular excursion. It was just enough “danger” to feel exciting (though we felt extremely safe the entire time), and you get to explore a beautiful landscape that would otherwise be inaccessable. We had some thrills, lots of laughs and learned many interesting things about the flora, fauna, and the people of Costa Rica. There was even a moment when my wife got a bit scared before a particular jump into water, and Cesar was able to calmly reassure her that all would be well, which it was of course. A note on footwear: I would highly recommend Chacos or a similar wet active secure footwear. We opted for hiking boots, which worked great, except that you will be fully immersed in water from the start or the tour (so your boots will need to dry after, which is nearly impossible in a tropical country like CR.) A fun, wet time!
