Great tour for the cenote swim! Make sure you take water shoes and cover all your electronics. It’s worth capturing the moment. Lots of fun! I would give a 5 star, but I think the waiting game for the tourist trucks to pick you up from place to place took a toll on the adventure. Definitely would recommend!

This was an awful tour. We had signed up for snorkeling with turtles and cenotes and got and the first 2 hours was a tour of the ruins!! We had no interest in doing the ruins and it was our last day in Mexico so we were hoping to get back no later than 2pm. It was 11:30 before they were planning to leave to go to the turtles (we were picked up at 9:30am) so we ended up leaving early to go back to our hotel. Extremely disappointed. We thought we were on the wrong tour but this definitely was the right one since our name was on the attendance list from the tour guide.

There was no fish or turtles to see on this tour. The water was very rough at the turtle bay and most of our group couldn't even get out there. Those who did regretted it as they were exhausted and saw no fish/turtles or wildlife at all. Don't offer tour when weather conditions are not good. The guides offered no apologies and in fact laughed at us for turning back half way. We have snorkeled many times and this was terrible. The cenote experience was good.

This wasn't good but it wasn't horrible either. The first part of this was going to the sanctuary to do some snorkeling with the sea turtles. I was so excited about doing this, but was a little nervous because it was extremely rough waters, but I figured there's a ton of people out there in the water so they must be seeing something. Nope! I was wrong! We had 12 in our group of friends...after 5 minutes in the water 9 of them turned back around because the waves were so rough. I kept going and regretted it. The waves were so rough that I actually had to stop and throw up. Because the sea was so rough the water was so murky that you couldn't see anything if you wanted to. I turned around and went back completely disappointed. I know that they're making money and aren't in the business of giving refunds, but seriously...if the water is so rough that people can't swim all the way out to where the turtles might possibly be, then call the damn thing off! This is the second excursion experience I've had where the waters were so rough that it should've been called off and weren't. After the horrible snorkeling experience we were driven over to the Cenotes. They were definitely cool to see and swim in. However the place was mobbed! You could barely swim around in the water because there were so many people around. We were given 45 minutes to enjoy the Cenotes. We took advantage of the life jackets that were offered so that we didn't need to work as hard to swim as we did for the snorkeling experience. I did my research into this excursion prior to booking it and it seemed to have really good reviews. The tour company also seemed to have good reviews as well. There's good and bad to everything, and maybe it's just this time of year that the seas are so rough, but again when the conditions are that bad they should just modify the tour.

Such a fun time. Weather was beautiful and the people were awesome!. Got picked up at our resort and left the driving to them.

Overall, this experience was nice. Communication about an itinerary was very limited and we had no idea we'd be swimming through a completely underground cenote, or even how many stops there were. The first stop at the first cenote was not necessary and the water was so shallow and cold that swimming was not an option. Another tour company handles the snorkeling part after being bussed up to Akumal. The snorkeling was hectic and very crowded. Sarah was our tour guide for the majority of the trip and she was amazing. The provided lunch was also delicious.

I registered for a this 4-hour trip and they booked my 3 kids and I to a full day trip. It could have been nice but it was terrible. We spent at least 4h at the back of a van either waiting or driving so fast that We felt unsafe. The lunch food was really bad- I was sick the day after. The cenote was great but we spent 20 min there and then 20 min waiting for the van because other groups were waiting to get in. Same for the snorkeling, we only had 30 min including the boat ride. We saw 2 turtles attracted by some food from the guide. There was also more than 30 people on the same spot… I do not recommend this trip or others organized by Maya Adrenaline Tulum.

We had the best time exploring a cenote and swimming with turtles. Sarah was the best cenote tour guide. We are honeymooning and got to go to the cenote just us with Sarah. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and took very good care of us. She even prayed before we entered the cenote, which was a very spiritual experience. Lunch was so good. I would recommend this company many times.

Lots of inefficiencies and not so good surprises. The description of “what to expect” needs to be updated as it is wrong. We were told that our pickup time would be at 8:20am but the driver didn’t arrive until 9:20am - not only was he late but we kept being told “one minute” as we waited outside for an hour. He was also at the wrong pick up location even though we were asked to send a picture of the hotel the day before. We had to walk around to find out where he was. The first part of the tour was going to 3 cenotes. The description says you get to snorkel in the cenote but that was not the case. During the tour, our guide seemed preoccupied on his phone and kept taking smoke breaks. After the cenotes was a small lunch/snack which included 2 taquitos/rice. There were no snacks provided during the tour such as bread or fruit as noted in the description. They provided water though. After lunch we had to wait 30 mins for a bus to go to our next destination: turtles. We had to pay an additional $10 fee per person to get into turtle bay which wasn’t listed in the description. After the turtles we had to wait another 20 mins for our bus, only to be told to grab our stuff and hop on a different bus. The whole tour ended up taking over 7 hours from the start of pick up to the drop off (even though it says approx 5 on the website) and we had to cancel the rest of our day plans due to them not being on schedule. The photos that the guide took at the cenotes were all blurry as the lens was not clean. He charged $20 per couple for the photos. They do not take photos for you at turtle bay.

The tour did not include what it was supposed to. We did not snorkel in the cenote ( we were really looking for that). The guide of the cenote seem to be in a hurry, we did not get any snacks ( they were supposed to be included also). At the end after a long day we had to wait for over half an hour for a ride. The turtle part was magnificent, the guide of that part great. So overall we scheduled one tour and got a different one. First time this has happened to me booking with Viator.

This tour is amazing because you see the best parts of tulum all in one day- the lagoon, the beach and a cenote. This tour took us on the best snorkeling of my life— seeing stingrays, turtles, octopus, colorful fish. The cenote tour was incredible as well and I can’t imagine going without a guide. My only complaint is that we immediately has to pay $10 each for the taxes (not included in tour) And $30 for the photos + tip. They also didn’t feed us until the very end of the day 3:30 after being out 7 hours. So bring extra money and snacks. Then it will be perfect.

Great tour. The guys made this hassle free with hotel pick up and drop off. It is a great option for a half a day tour instead of an intense 12 one. The guide was very friendly too.

Es una experiencia sumamente emotiva el poder convivir y ver de cerca a tan ancestrales animales, vale muchísimo la pena, es una maravilla el poder nadar y ver esta parte del Caribe, lo volvería hacer 100 veces!!!
