This is a seriously slick operation! Our whole family ranging in age from 10 to 70 went rafting on Saturday and LOVED every moment. Gorgeous scenery, heaps of fun rapids, professional fun guides and awesome touches with the hot chocolate and choccy fish on the river and the beer and hot dog to finish. After doing Tongariro we were looking for something fun to do the next day before we head back home, and we were definitely not disappointed! The rapids were exciting and the scenery was amazing and it required just the right amount of work to loosen our stiff bodies. Thanks to all at Rafting New Zealand for making it one of the most fun days we've had in a long time! A special thanks to our guide Wetti(apologies if I am not spelling that correctly) who entertained us with his stories and jokes and took care of us on our adventure and made sure to make the trip a memorable one!First time doing white water rafting and we enjoyed the grade 3 rapids as a family. Our guide (Jess/Jessie) was awesome. The hot chocolate and sausages were also a bonus.
