The place is absolutely beautiful! The luau really helps you understand hawaiian & Polynesian culture. It was beautiful, informative, & interesting. The food was absolutely delicious - every bit of it. Fabulous experience!

The luau ticket includes not only food and entertainment, but also a path through a botanical garden that leads to Waimea Falls and cultural activities as well. There are a gift shop, snack bar, and outdoor bar, too. This show is appropriate for families with children.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. We were welcomed into the family! Thank you so much for the laughs and the smiles and happy feelings. Thank you for sharing with us. Ask for more food and they’ll serve the whole platter! Sad my group didn’t have the time to go around the gardens but we definitely were in a magical place. Bring bug spray!

Tao Luau exceeded my expectations ! I am one who have been to lots of cultural shows and have noticed in most that presenters were doing their acts because it was their job. But, the whole Tao luau experience showed the staff are there for the guests. They welcomed us with warm smile with the fresh lei to our seats. Predinnet outdoor activities were very interactive and fun, making the coconut headdress, local way of shredding coconut and peeling taro. There was demo of climbing coconut tree, cooking with rocks. Dinner was good with lots of food, they even offer seconds to hungrier guests. I enjoyed most was the hula/tahitian /war/fire dances representing different ethnic cultures. The male and female dancers were all awesome and looked beautiful and genuinely happy at what they do. The emcee was funny and the 12 yr old boy who did the fire dance was exceptionally impressive. All the dancers and staff were beautiful and awesome. I enjoyed every minute of the show. Overall, this was a great experience, a must do and Tao Luau was most impressive through and through. The great presenters were genuine and authentic for guests to have a great time. .

Loved the "family" inclusion of the event. Such fun learning how the food is prepared, how palm leaves are braided, and the fire is prepared. The banana from the fire was not to my liking.....very dry.

One of the best vacation excursions my wife and I have ever taken. Very educational as well as entertaining. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu.

Great interactive experience. Very engaging. They honored people there celebrating birthdays and anniversaries and graduations, which was pretty special. Good food. Bonus entry to Waimea botanical gardens and falls was fantastic. Very worthwhile!

This luau was so much fun!!! My husband and I had a great time! They involved the crowd in a lot of the night’s festivities, the emcee was hilarious, the show was awesome and the food was really good. What more could you ask for? Would definitely attend again if we ever go back to Oahu.

The luau itself was good. I booked the VIP but would not recommend paying the extra price. Staff were great and the food was very good. It was a fun experience but transportation too and from need to be included. It was confusing for me and we got there on a tour bus that we ended up paying extra to get there then had to get a Lyft to get back to Waikiki. We ended up paying a lot more than necessary. The experience would have been much better except the stress of figuring out the transportation.

The dancing and fire show was great. I was disappointed in the food. I was expecting to have more authentic Hawaiian food and it wasn't.

I went to Hawaii with my Mom and my daughter and we really wanted to go to a Luau. We spent hours reviewing and searching for the right one. Our original pick got cancelled bc of bad weather but this is the one I really wanted anyway. The show was fun, it was personal, and the food was wonderful. I liked almost everything. They also served you your plate which was really nice after reading so many reviews about bad food and lines for the buffet. It was a smaller group and it also included entrance to Waimea Valley which was $25 by itself. I highly recommend this event.

The additional display of cultural activities added to the uniqueness of the luau. The emcee was funny and entertaining. The fire dance was phenomenal and the food was great. We would definitely go again. I recommend getting there a little early so you can tour the valley and see the waterfall.

Best Luau on the island. We attended the Luau first and everyone was so welcoming. Learnt a lot about the Polynesian culture as we were having great food. The MC was hilarious. The dances were amazing. As an added bonus, you can visit the Waimea falls and botanical gardens before/ after the show.

Two experiences in one. We came early in order to walk through the botanical gardens on the way up to Waimea Falls which was stunningly beautiful. Definitely make time before the luau to wander through the gardens to see the plants, trees, and birds. The luau itself starts with fun hands-on activities like husking and shaving coconuts, then delicious food accompanied by fabulous drumming and dancing from a variety of Polynesian nations. We actually rented a car and drove up from Waikiki for this luau and it was 100% worth the drive!
