Overview
If you choose the latter option, I will take you to some of our favorite places and will guide you as you try a variety of tasty and authentic Basque Food.
As we make our way through the bustling streets of the Downtown and the Old Town, we will stop to sample a variety of Bilbao’s favorite foods, its specialties, and more. You’ll have a chance to sample 14-15 different food and drinks, ending with a delectable dessert.
This is definitely not a tour to start on a full stomach! It can easily substitute for a meal.
I look forward to meeting you and introducing you to our favorite Basque dishes!

Patrizia was a superby host, a well informed expert on all things local and Basque but what was even more important was her ability to relay all that in such a personable fun way for us as visitors to the city. If you have got this far in the review then just book this tour if you want a fun evening in Bilbao. It was among the highlights of our trip. The tour consisted of visits to different pinxto bars where we had the speciality of that bar and with it a local drink chosen by Patrizia. It was a great opportunity to try things we definitely wouldn't have tried on our own and it also gave us confidence on the following evenings to understand dishes and what to have with them. Communication with Patrizia was easy from start of the process in booking the tour to the end of the tour itself. We were able to chat on several topics in an engaged way and in my opinion Patrizia is Bilbaos foremost expert on pintxos and Eurovision and who wouldn't want that as part of a trip to Basque country?
