What to expect

Itinerary

Day 1: From Riohacha to Cabo de la Vela

Stop At: Salinas de Manaure, Manaure Colombia
Our first stop after leaving Riohacha, you will see rubbed pools of sea salt, mountains of processed salt and you will learn about the processes and microorganisms involved in it. Guided by a native of the Place.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Cabo de La Vela, Cabo de La Vela, La Guajira Department
You will see one of the oldest villages in the country built entirely of cactus and mud wood, we will go to the Sugar Pylon (Ancestral Mountain) to the Water Eye (Cultural Point) and to see the sunset at the lighthouse, the best place in the cape to see This show.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Aipiruhu, Uribia, La Guajira, Colombia
We will have the opportunity to dine with a Wayuu family, learn about their surroundings and learn about the ancestral way of life in the largest desert in Colombia.
Learn their language, taste traditional food and meet the whole Pushaina family in a very close way.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Meals included:
• Lunch: Fresh fish - Chicken - Lobster shrimp (Additional) - vegetarian (in front of the Sea)
• Dinner: Traditional Wayuu dinner - Fried goat - arepa and chicha or vegetarian silver.
We eat with our hands in the middle of the desert.
• Breakfast: Eggs, Arepa, Coffee.
Accommodation included: Traditional accommodation: Chinchorro (Hammock woven by Wayuu women)

Day 2: From Cabo de la Vela to Punta Gallinas (northernmost place in south america)

Stop At: Dunas de Taroa, Uribia Colombia
An Incredible Place with endless dunes and virgin beaches that end in the Caribbean Sea, place of postcards and dream photos.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Punta Gallinas, Uribia, La Guajira, Colombia
The northernmost place of South America and Colombia, you will experience the calm and peace of living a few minutes at a far and northern end of the continent, far from civilization and any feature of globalization.
Duration: 30 minutes

Meals included:
• Lunch: Fish, lobsters (additional), Vegetarian, Chicken
• Dinner: Fish, lobsters (additional), Vegetarian, Chicken
• Breakfast: Eggs, arepa, coffee
Accommodation included: Traditional lodging: Chinchorro (Hammock woven by Wayuu women).

Day 3: From Punta Gallinas to Riohacha

Stop At: Mayapo, Mayapo, La Guajira Department
On the way back to Riohacha we will make a stop on a beach of blue waters and white sand with as much tranquility as only Mayapo can offer.
Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes
