For almost 30 years Berlin was surrounded by a wall and Germany was divided in two halfs - an unique situation in the history.
Our tour starts at Brandenburg gate as a symbol of separation and reunification. By "goost underground", we go on to the "Palace of Tears" at the well-known checkpoint Friedrichstraße.
We go on to Bernauer Straße, known for spectacular escapes out of the windows or through escape tunels. Walking the former border control line (called dead-line) - belonging to the Wall memorial - to a foto-board of the 136 wall victims in Berlin.
From Tuesdays to Fridays, each day there is a small service for one of the victims in the Chapel of Consiliation.
In the documentation center with foto- film- and pressmaterial you can e.g. learn how unhuman they once prepared the Wall.

It was a lot of fun :-)
Everything was OK.
All around satisfied, very informative.
The tour was very interesting, we had a great tour and our guide was able to tell us a lot of things about the booked topic. He was very kind, we would always do this tour again and can highly recommend it.
Tour was really interesting and the guide was kind and competent.
very extensive and informative tour.
Absolutely recommendable, also for younger people.
We arrived at Brandenburg Gate at the negotiated time and our guide was already waiting for us. Another couple joined us, so were complete with 5 people. Perfect!!! The tour was really well performed and we saw a lot. I would always use the rent-a-guide-portal again in order to book tours.
I appreciatd the possibilty that we could participate on the commemoration of the dead. With the tour, we were well prepared for the visit of the Wall Museum at the Checkpoint Charlie.
If you are interested in german history and want to be able to feel how problematic the seperation of the city acutually was, should definitely accept this offer!
The tour was really touching and I learned a lot about living in the seperated city.
well chosen places - balanced presentation - vivid - not too cluttered
Good competence - very personal tour (but we were only 2 people, I paid the money for the third person)
A great tour at the Berlin Wall which lasted for almost 3 hours under the direction of a competent guide. Thank you again for the tour. Klaus Eisel, Essen
The value for money was okay.
I live in Berlin for a couple of years now and know a bit of the city, but the tour "The victims of the Wall" impressed me and I already recommended it.
We were very satisfied, our many questions were answered and also the questions of the kids were answered. With 8 participants, the size of the group was good so that we were able to understand everything. Our guide knew the place pretty well, designed the tour very entertainingly and we would surely book with you again.
Even though we were only three participants the tour was performed. We experienced things that we wouldnt have experienced without this tour. we saw a ghost train station with an additional exhibition. Also, we saw the "Tränenpalast" (Palace of tears) which had not been recommended to us by friends or internet research. We got hints at many things we would not have observed on our own.
Thanks a lot. Greetings from Augsburg
All participants were absolutely content, thanks a lot!
Even I learned something new.
Andrea led us among the different stations in a very competent and entertaining way. Thanks a lot!
Since there are a lot of people around Brandenburg Gate, the meeting point should be described more accurately. It was helpful that we could reach someone immediately on the phone who could help us (later, I found the description of the meeting point on the booking confirmation, but it was a bit hidden).
Everything but run-off-the-mill and very informative!
Highly informative, pupils reactions were involved adequately.
It's a pity that the guide didn't experience the Wall and the time himself.
