The best of Lake Como - Como city walking tour and Villa Balbianello
Overview
We will show you the most important attractions of Como like the Cathedral, the San
Fedele Church, the Roman city walls and towers and will bring you in the particular atmosphere of the charming Como lake town.
After a short lunch break we will take a speed boat to Lenno (about 40 min), where the villa Balbianello is located. After the visit to the villa Balbianello, the setting place for Star Wars and James Bond Casino Royal.
We will return with the normal boat (1, 5h), to have a possibility to show you the most beautiful villas on the lake during the trip. We will finish our tour in the Como city at 6 pm.
Please note that in case of overbooking in high season this tour might become a semi-private tour with the number of participants reaching maximum 8 persons. In this case you will be offered an aperitivo (a drink and typical Italian appetizers) on the lake after the tour. If you want your tour to be exclusively private, please mention it under the point "requirements".

Villa Balbianello visit was memorable. Guide Viollette was knowledgeable. Viator Tour was very high priced and not worth the $210. I would give guide 5 star and tour value may be 3 star.

Violetta was not just very informative of Como and the history behind this beautiful place but gave us other great recommendations to enjoy while we were there . We walked around Como and was shown Churches, landmark buildings, shops and the best place to pick up yummy desserts. We then went to Villa Balbianello and roamed around with her being so kind to take our photos along the way. i don’t want to go into too much detail because you should definitely book this tour to see for yourself but know it was well worth the walking you will do :) Even though we just met her that day it truly felt like she was a lifelong friend :). The tour felt natural and warming and we can’t wait to recommend it to all of our friends .taaaaasshh

We loved our day ( actually 2 days) with Violetta! We had so much fun and learned so much about the area. It was a great tour and a great workout ( walking uphill to the Villa in high heat) but we managed quite nicely and was glad we did it.
