Overview

With a kimono guide, you can enjoy a full-fledged tea ceremony to a history commentary. At the tea house, you can drink matcha with 15 kinds of authentic tea bowls that change every month. This is an explanation of the Edo period, a period that symbolizes Japan in visiting temples. A special feature of this tour is that you can enjoy them all with a unique kimono guide. At the end of the 4-hour tour, you will have time to go out and talk about each other's lifestyle. You can also talk casually while eating Japanese food at a well-established store in Ueno. Walk along Ueno ’s royal road while enjoying it from a local perspective. If you participate in this tour, you can enjoy both Ueno history and Japanese life. The route is basically decided, but you can change it as you wish within the time.

You can walk in Ueno Park, which is Ueno's main tourist destination. If you are interested in the temple in Ueno Park, you can stop by.

Stop At: Kanei-ji Temple Kompon Chudo, 1-14-11 Uenosakuragi, Taito 110-0002 Tokyo Prefecture

It is a temple where the Tokugawa family, an Edo era shogun important for explaining Japanese history, is enshrined. You can experience the foundations of Ueno's culture and history.

This complex is a renovated old house. There are beer halls and cafes inside, where you can enjoy old Japanese architecture.

You can enjoy a tea ceremony run by an antique shop. Since 15 types of tea bowls are exchanged every month, the oldest tea can be enjoyed in a tea bowl 300 years ago. Because there is a show before the event, it is a full-fledged tea ceremony.

Stop at the Annex of the downtown customs museum where you can visit for free. The building that was originally a liquor store has been moved and displayed. You can take a picture with a traditional Japanese haori coat.
