Enjoy a splendid view onto the Momella lakes which boast a large variety of waterfowls with seasonal flamingos.

Going on Safari with Tansania Safari Bug was a remarkable and excellent experience. We saw every animal we hoped for and the service was even beyond our expectations. Even though we booked a camping safari to be closer to the animals and to get a more adventurous experience, we felt safe at any time. The best guide you can probably wish for was our guide Frank Winstone. He was very competent and could answer any question about Tanzanian traditions, wild life and he even taught us how to speak some Swahili. Furthermore, he is a great driver who guided us safely through Tarangire and Serengeti Nationalpark as well as Ngorongoro crater. Also our chef Peter prepared delicious meals for us every day for breakfast, lunch and diner. Overall, I would recommend Tanzania safari bug to everyone who wants have an authentic safari experience with a friendly, capable and very polite team around.FrederictonGuys

Congratulations! If you are reading this, then you have found the company for your safari! I know there are many many companies to choose from and I have done the work that you are doing now. This is the second time we have used Michael as our guide. Years ago, he was working as a guide for another company and now he is a local owner of a safari business. Michael is an amazing kind man who is patient (as I know from all the questions, we asked on safari) as well as extremely knowledgeable of the animals, habitat, and their behaviours. To this our group can attest to by seeing what he did on our safari, compared to many other drivers. Michael has the amazing talent of seeing subtle things, be it birds that react when cats are around, to what the animals do at certain times of the day… all of this makes him one of the best! Even though we are many time zones away, the company was fast to answer any of our questions and concerns. They helped us select the perfect safari itinerary, as well as some pretty amazing lodges/hotels to stay in. I can tell you that the owners spend a lot of time personally visiting every lodge/hotel to make sure all their clients get only the best experience. We did a mid-range price safari and I can tell you we often wondered what the clients who did the higher-end lodges were getting, because all of the lodges were spectacular! The food was top notch, too, for anyone who might be wondering. I had a chance to ask Michael about his business and his drivers/guides, since I know he cannot be the guide for everyone. I am happy to say that he passes on his knowledge and expectations to his team and wants his company, Tanzania Safari Bug, to have high standards and give each client a trip of a lifetime. I also found out that, being a local owner, the company is very environmentally conscious, which reflects in them giving each client a company logo water bottle to keep, rather than a one-use plastic water bottle. Being local, they also hire qualified local people as often as they can. Both Michael and Sandra (owners) also gives back to the local region and have some big plans for schools and other projects in the area as they begin to grow. From our experience with them, I have no doubt that they will have a reputation that will see great things for them in the future. Sandra steckt ihre gesamte Energie in die Planung und reagierte sehr zügig auf die vielen Fragen unsererseits. Trotz einiger Schwierigkeiten (mehrfache Flugänderungen) konnte Sandra immer wieder unseren Safariplan so individuell anpassen, dass wir absolut glücklich damit waren. Vor Ort hat alles reibungslos funktioniert und die ausgewählten Unterkünfte waren perfekt für uns. Was den Urlaub sehr besonders gemacht hat, war ein Verlobungsantrag Mitten in der Sergenti bei einem Busch Dinner. Es war ein Traum! Auch hier hat Sandra meinem Verlobten bei der Planung sehr gut unterstützt und stand ebenfalls für viele Fragen zur Verfügung. Unser Ziel war eine auf unsere Bedürfnisse zugeschnittene Tour zu erleben. Mit Tanzania Safari Bug hatten wir bereits bei der ersten Kontaktnahme ...
Wir haben schon mehrere Safaris in verschiedenen Ländern in Afrika gemacht. Diese Safari soll unsere letzte sein und sie soll etwas Besonderes werden. Unser Ziel war eine auf unsere Bedürfnisse zugeschnittene Tour zu erleben. Mit Tanzania Safari Bug hatten wir bereits bei der ersten Kontaktnahme ein gutes Gefühl. Wir wollten nicht nur durch die Nationalparks jetten, unser Ziel war auch das Leben der Menschen, die Kultur und die Landschaft zu erleben. Wir haben die Nationalpärke Mikumi, Ruaha und Nyerere besucht. Der Ruaha und auch der Nyerere Park sind noch sehr naturbelassen und ursprünglich es sind nur wenige Touristen in dieser Gegend und so ist auch der Aufenthalt in den Parks und Lodges sehr angenehm und herzlich. Wir konnten wunderbare Tierbeobachtungen machen. Michael hat uns sicher durch die Gegenden und durch die Parks chauffiert. Das Reisen auf dem Landweg ist wohl anstrengender aber auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, gibt es einem doch einen tiefgründigen und nachhaltigen Eindruck über das Leben der Menschen und auch über die enorme Vielfalt der landwirtschaftlichen Erzeugnisse wie Früchte, Gemüse etc. welche hier gedeihen und angeboten werden. Die Abstecher in die Udzungua Berge waren ein besonderes Erlebnis. Auch die Wanderung zu den Sanje Wasserfällen durch den Bergregenwald ist etwas Einmaliges. Michael konnte uns mit seinen fundierten und umfassenden Kenntnissen alles Wissenswerte erklären und aufzeigen. Prince hat mit seinen Deutschkenntnisse immer weitergeholfen wenn unsere Englischkenntnisse nicht ausreichend waren und hat uns immer sehr hilfsbereit betreut. Danke auch an Sandra für die für uns stimmige Routenplanung und die reibungslose Organisation der Tour. Wir durften eine beeindruckende und wunderschöne Reise erleben - dafür sind wir sehr dankbar. Die individuelle Planung und Durchführung unserer Tansaniareise entsprach voll unseren Vorstellungen. Das Angebot wurde sorgfältig und voll unseren Vorstellungen entsprechend organisiert. Dave, unser Fahrer und Guide wusste uns mit seinen Adlersaugen und viel Fingerspitzengefühl sicher durch die Tangire-, Manyara-, Ngorongoro- und Serengetinationalpakrs zu führen. Ein besonderes Highlight war, dass wir u.a. die Löwenjagd auf einen Gnu oder auch die Gepardenfamilie beim Fressen ihrer frischen Beute hautnah miterleben durften. Auch der spezielle Gepäcktransport per Flugzeug ohne unsere Begleitung hat bestens geklappt. Wir besuchten nach der Safari die Stiftung Tuwapende Watoto und brachten da zusätzliches Gepäck mit. Die abschliessende Fahrt mit der Fähre nach Sanibar und dem entspannten Aufenthalt am indischen Ozean rundete die Reise perfekt ab. Gerne empfehlen wir Sandra, Miachael und das Team von Tanzania Safari Bug jederzeit weiter und freuen uns bereits jetzt auf eine weitere Reise durch einen noch unbekannten Teil Tansania's.
