My wife was very concerned about hills, but the ride turned out to be nearly flat and on nice smooth surfaces. We learned a lot about Tallinn from Tomas and really enjoyed it.

They failed to update the date of our confirmed tour in their computer, resulting in no tour for our one day in town with no plan B. I understand mistakes happen, but they could not have been ruder and unapologetic, shoving my deposit back toward me. Then tells me I asked for it back. No, I asked if there was a solution for our ruined plans. She could have cared less and wouldn’t take responsibility until I finally pressed her to. I suggested that an apology would be in order and she angrily argued that she had apologized. Nope, that did not happen. Instead, she yelled at me that “this is not an English-speaking country!”, although she spoke perfect English the entire time, so I don't understand the relevance. Rude and hateful! We ended up finding an information center close to the main square and took a free 2 hour walking tour with EstaAdventure, (look for green square with a white letter “I”). Kadri was our guide and she was well informed and could not have been more pleasant! This was a pleasant surprise after visiting the city for the second time in 3 years. This was a pleasant surprise after visiting the city for the second time in 3 years. I was honestly expecting a detailed bike tour through the cobblestone roads of Old Town (and was therefore expecting to see much of the same as I had seen during the first visit), but instead i received an incredible journey through the real gems of Tallinn. I am fascinated by Cold War history and Estonia's place before and during the Soviet era, and this tour was one of the most powerful and enjoyable that I've experienced. Tallinn is an absolutely beautiful city that is steeped in history from all edges, and this tour does an exceptional job in highlighting the city's charm following its Soviet times. If you are interested in visiting sights such as the Kadriorg Palace, the President's office, the Song Festival grounds, and the Maarjamäe Memorial, I have no doubt that you would enjoy this tour. All was perfect! All was perfect! Quickly organized for 12 participants with helmets and correct sized bikes. Monica was our guide. She was personable, knowledgable of the history and politics of Estonia, patient, fun, simply a really nice person who spoke perfect English. We rode thru the streets, near the ferry terminals, out of Old Town to new Riga. So much we saw, so many memories of the City. Finished with the new Memorial Monument very similar to USA Viet Nam Monument. Spectacular and amazing. This bike tour is a must while in Tallinn. We had an amazing time with Georg. We had an amazing time with Georg. He was both funny without being silly and had excellent personal experiences that helped us get to know the culture of the Estonian people better. The 2 hour bike tour we purchased through get your guide takes you to the outskirts of town, not the old town, do plan separately for that. Can't recommend enough, we travel a lot, and Georg was one of our best guides ever.
