We are in our late 60s and early 70s and were so well taken care of on this tour, although ages ranged from littlies, through teenagers and families to us. The expert guides were able to cater for all ages and abilities, and although I am not a strong swimmer I felt safe at all times. The crew were young, extremely knowledgeable, funny and clearly passionate about their roles as custodians of these beautiful fish. Their passion was evident and contagious. The tour was limited to 20 guests and we experienced 6 expertly supervised snorkels with the beautiful whale sharks and 2 more over the coral of the sheltered lagoon.

I had been hoping to experience Ningaloo Reef, and in particular swim with whale sharks, for years. Today’s trip with 3 Island Whale Shark Dive exceeded all expectations and literally was the trip of a lifetime for me. The crew were outstanding- knowledgeable, competent, passionate about the marine life and so helpful, making sure every person of all age and ability had a great experience. Attention to safety was excellent. The catering was fantastic too. We were recommended these guys by a friend who went with them, and now we can highly recommend them too!

The whale sharks are amazing, we had a total of five swims with them. The staff are also amazing, they helped me when I got a bit panicky and they were very knowledgeable. We saw a Minkie whale , dolphins, rays, heaps & of colourful fish, a white tip reef shark, turtles , wobegones the list goes on. Thankyou for a fabulous day. Margo & mark

The crew could not do enough to help you onboard, from giving informative talks on the way to the boat, to setting you up with the right gear. The crew knew all their safety stuff, and the boat was directed onto a parallel path to the Whalesharks, giving you enough time to get into the water, and set us up in a line to watch the whaleshark glide on by, then swim with these magnificent creatures. I would recommend 3 Islands Whaleshark Tours to anyone interested.

We had a fantastic day swimming with the Whalesharks and snorkelling on the Ningaloo Reef. We went with my two daughters (teenage), me, hubby and sister in law. The day starts with an amazing initial snorkel on the inner reef to test out the gear and make sure everything works well. This is followed by morning tea and an information session on how the whaleshark interaction will work. This was explained very clearly and with some humour! We were fortunate to have fabulous weather with low swell and reasonable visibility (the vis was not perfect because of a recent tropical low) but we still had perfect views of the sharks. The sharks were about a metre below the surface, they swam relatively slowly, we were easily able to keep up and get a really good view and plenty of video. We had a fantastic guide Liv who told us exactly what to do and the skipper, Sam was also very skilled in getting the boat in just the right spot to drop and pick up. Lunch and afternoon tea were great, beautiful food with dietary requirements (vego) easily provided for. A photographer and whaleshark finder! (Molly) took fantastic photos which were then downloaded (for free) from a website the next day. Molloy took photos of all the participants with the whalesharks and also of the reef and fish - we had our own GoPro but Molly's pictures were much better! Finished off with a drift dive in the afternoon and a glass of Champagne. Such a fabulous day - I highly recommend Three Islands Whale Shark Dive!

Absolutely fantastic experience!! Crew (Jerry, Liv, Hannah, Jade and Robby) were so lovely and knowledgable, and the food was great! And the whale sharks were beautiful. We were lucky enough to see some turtles and have dolphins swim along with the boat. Definitely can recommend going at this time of year, the water temperature was perfect!

Unforgettable experience in the water taken care of by the whale sharks (we saw 4 different sharks across 5 swims) but the real highlight was the Drawcard team. Huge shout out to Merieke, T, Molly, Sam and Seth who were awesome, so informative and considerate to all the guests. Food was great and the boat was brilliant. Small groups really helped. Only consideration is maybe selecting some better snorkel sites.

Just wow! If you’re looking for a tour or an experience to do in Australia, then this is where you spend your hard earned cash! And it’s worth every penny. My partner and I have done experiences at the Whitsundays, Great Barrier Reef and K’gari and this tops the lot! Not only was the swimming with the sharks just amazing but the staff ( T, Liv, Luke, Benji and Robbie the legend) were so professional and also friendly. They weren’t trying too hard or being too serious, they had a laugh with us and showed us what’s what. Lunch and snacks were actually decent and a beer/Prosecco to finish on our way back was a nice way to finish the day! It was a 10/10 day in every aspect so thank you!

Such a wonderful day from start to finish. Collected from our resort by the friendliest crew and given a run down on the history and environment on the drive to the jetty. Then straight into organising us on the boat so we could get straight down to relaxing as we head out to snorkel a reef to get out gills wet before meeting the whale sharks. We got to swim with 4 of the majestic creatures. Such a great experience. We just discussed how we'd like to bottle Rob's energy! He was the amazing boat photographer & jumped in on every swim. Assisted all the resort pick ups, meal preps, organising & socialising on the boat. Then retouching all the photos at night.

This trip is excellent. The team are helpful, informative, and ensured the safety of clients at all times. The swims with the whale sharks were incredible, and the crew made sure that everyone had the opportunity to see these amazing animals. All dietary requirements were catered for, and the food was excellent.

The 3 islands crew are the best in the business. Awesome information, extremely friendly and approachable, safety first for clients, environment and fauna. The food was also on point morning tea and lunch were delish-o-rama. A totally awesome day swimming with such majestic creatures.

Bang on perfect day. Crew are funny, the opening snorkel is a nice way to test your gear and relax a bit. Water was warm and there was plenty of fish. Morning tea was delicious. We saw whale sharks all day which was a huge one on my bucket list. Afternoon spread of food was delicious followed by another snorkel and then a celebration beer. I couldn't fault the trip. Smiles all round from everyone on board. Well done. Highly recommend.

One of the best experiences of my life! Fabulously organised and such a wonderful, friendly and professional crew. Huge thanks in particular to Hannah, Seth and Molly for making us feel so comfortable in the water! The initial snorkel in the reef was ideal to practice/try out your gear. We then managed to do 5 swims with whale sharks - which gets better every-time as you get into the rhythm of how to navigate swimming around them. Our final afternoon snorkel was also fantastic and saw some awesome marine life, including a reef shark. The boat was very ordered and the food was super yummy with lots of options (and lots of it!!) Bubbles at the end was also a lovely end to an amazing day. *chefs kiss* Thanks so much for allowing us to have such a memorable day. Cant wait for the pictures!

A fab day out! Lucky enough to see whale sharks on each and every dive round during the day. As a non-confident (and frankly slow) swimmer I was so impressed with the care and patience of each team member. Pool noodles were provided for us if we wanted them - the gear was clean and in good nick. There is a ladder you can use if needed to get back up on the boat too. Lunch and snacks were also great. The team worked together like clockwork- friendly and approachable at all times. Thanks to Jerry, Luke, Marika, Liv and Robbie for making our day a memorable one. Also special mention to Neville - picking us up when we were flagging - he did a brilliant job

The booking, boat, crew, food and the whole experience was fantastic. Even the slow less uncomfortable swimmers were looked after. Everyone enjoyed the day.

We had an amazing day snorkeling the reef and swimming several times with multiple whalesharks. A true once in a lifetime experience you cannot miss when you're in Exmouth / the Ningaloo. Everything was organized and coordinated perfectly by the great staff on the boat from the snorkel, the swims with the whalesharks, lunch and refreshments on the boat. We couldn't have wished for a better tour.
